        Comments about 3/4" x 3 1/4" x 6.5 LFT Ash Stair Nose:

Love, love my ash wood floors by Bellawood! My only 'con' would be I would have to drive to a different branch to pick up the items not in stock. They should have a driver for this.

          Comments about 3/4" x 3 1/4" x 6.5 LFT Ash Stair Nose:

The stair nosing is several shades lighter than the lightest planks of our beautiful Bellawood 3 1/4" hardwood floors. The finish also seems to be different, as well as the grain pattern and slightly thinner. I wish it would have matched better.

I used this to picture frame a balcony the only improvement would be a microbeveled end with tongue and groove.

where does this rank on the hardness scale and does this have a big variation in color or close to the same from plank to plank. I am looking for something with only a small amount of variation and very hard on the janka scale.

The Janka rating is 1500. You will have shade variation with this product as well as with most exotics.
