    Comments about 3/8" x 1 1/2" x 6.5LFT Brazilian Cherry Reducer:

I puchased several of these to use as door threshold trim and to edge the floor around a brick fireplace. They work great, match well and are flexible enough to bend a little if needed (the brick in my fireplace bulged out slightly).

Can this laminate be installed on a concrete slab? (Not a basement. I have 400 sq feet of Den space)

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Floating laminate flooring is ideal over concrete slabs. Concrete must be flat and level with no more than 3/16" in 10' variance or 1/8" in a 6' radius. Concrete slabs also require a moisture barrier. A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4-6" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then lay an approved underlayment for floating flooring (unless you have padding attached laminate).

        • Q:

I installed Nirvana laminate flooring. I bought your companies cleaner and application mop. I have 1800+ sq. ft. to clean. It is very demanding covering that much area when you are 70 yrs. old. I also use a professional dry mop to dust the floors daily. Can you recommend an easier way of cleaning it?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

You are doing the right thing, however the cleaner is only necessary about once or twice a month.

For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.
