        Comments about 5/8" x 2" x 6.5LFT Brazilian Koa T-Molding:

I would recommend the product because the flooring is beautiful. My husband showed it to our neighbor who absolutely loved it! We had a contractor install our flooring who was recommended by the store manager. I feel the contractor didn't know what he was doing. He finished a week ago and the T-molding is already coming up. I called him to fix it but I'm still waiting! If you have someone install your flooring, make sure he/she has experience in installing Bellawood. The flooring is 5 stars, but I took off one star for the experience of the contractor.

          Comments about 5/8" x 2" x 6.5LFT Brazilian Koa T-Molding:

I purchased three 6.5 ft. lengths of the Brazilian Koa T-molding. One is fine, one has a 6-inch crack in the middle of it, making this piece worthless, and the third has a major flaw that was repaired with wood filler. For the price of these things they should all be in excellent condition. [*] quality inspection.

Super hard and great looking. Be careful with your nail gun as it will split near the ends give yourself 2" or more before driving the nail.

I plan on installing 3/8 Brazilian koa from Shon and wish to change directions of the flooring from room to room, would this product be the one to use? I am concerned about the 1/4 inch difference between flooring.

                          • Q:

We will need a transition strip between engineered hardwood to tile. The height difference between the two floors is between 1/8 - 1/4", with the tile being the higher floor, will this T-molding work? Will it tend to "rock" when stepped on?

This T-molding will work if placed correctly and secured properly to the subflooring.

I have this t-molding to go with my engineered floor that i will be floating over a slab and will transition to a tile floor. How do i fasten the t-molding to the floor? I would like to avoid nailing into the engineered wood. Should it sit loosely, or do I glue it to the slab?
