These T-moldings provide the transition between the hardwood flooring and other flooring material, such as tiles that are approximately at the same height. [...] To keep the molding flush with the floor I shaped the baseboards so that the t-molding would fit under it. However one of the t-moldings had a slight bow and to keep it flush with the flooring I used silicone grout (on the tile side) and liquid nail (on the wood side) since I didn't want to have any nail holes. It looks great with our golden teak flooring.

Service and delivery comments:

Originally we were not aware that golden teak t-moldings were available and we bought brazilian teak t-moldings that were too red. We talked to the shop in San Jose and they easily allowed us to swap them for golden teak, which turned out great.

Take you time and do not rush installation. Best to start off with a small area and let glue dry overnight. Then use painters tape to hold boards together until the glue drys.

This is a simple T-Mold - so not much to discuss, but the product was nice and free of defects.

I love the look of my Bellawood floors. The installation went well. They are a major improvement over carpeting. The thresholds are okay, but not spectacular; color match could have been better. I actually finished oakquarter-round/toe moulding myself and it is a superior match. However, I think the sales person should offer (to a novice such as I am), to sell the quarter round, thresholds and transition pieces -- at the time of purchase. He/she should also push the glue. This all could be delivered at the same time which would be more convenient for the customer -- if not the quarter round/thresholds/transition than certainly the glue. That stuff is heavy, heavy and not inexpensive.

I used this "T" mldg to transition between tile and my 3/4 hardwood Teak flooring. The color match was very good even though it was not real teak. the installation was easy and the transition looks great.
