Comments about 5/8" x 2" x 6.5LFT Maple Threshold:
The "Maple" color was clossest in matching the old "white-washed" wood flooring.

Comments about 5/8" x 2" x 6.5LFT Maple Threshold:
Lumber liquidators was the only place I could find this particular type of transition piece (which goes from a tile mud room to a lower carpeted room) in maple. I am a first time buyer but will be back when the need arises.

Comments about 5/8" x 2" x 6.5LFT Maple Threshold:
Makes the transition look much better than using any type of metals or other threshholds. The only advice is to make sure when nailing it to nail on the thicker part of the strip so that it does not crack down the middle.

Comments about 5/8" x 2" x 6.5LFT Maple Threshold:
This is a great product. [...] I have one concern on this batch of wood. There seemed to be a lot of defects in the strips that should have been caught in production. I saved them and plan to take them back to [...] for credit, but they should not have been packed for shipment to customers. The first batch did not seem to have as many defects as this second batch. There were variations in the top finish between the two batches but that probably could not be avoided.

This threshold is one exciting piece of wood. It's shiny. It's made of maple. It blends my kitchen floor with my new hardwood floor. I've never been so excited about a piece of wood.

Q:
We are thinking of purchasing this flooring. Some of the reviews says it scratches easy. Is this a good choice for a medium size dog and for a semi open floor plan meaning large living room and dining room. L shape. We have a cathedral ceiling on this half of the house so it is pretty open.1 answer
A:
All of our wood floors are scratch resistant, but there are no wood floors that are scratch proof.Q:
We installed this floor and it makes "snap, crackle, pop" sounds when we walk on it. Any idea why? We are considering doing a room right next to this one and wonder if the nails were too long? Is this item still available?1 answer
A:
It is possible your nails were too long. It also could be depending on the underlayment you used for your "low profile" floor that could cause squeeks. Yes, this item is still available.
