          Doesnt stick to Concrete well

These floors would not peel and stick to concrete at all. I used a primer/sealer on my concrete floor and these planks did not even attempt to stick to them. Some stuck better than others but it was horrible. I had to buy tubes of construction adhesive and glue them down one by one. Once done it did look very good, but it took forever to install. Also, some pieces were very difficult to peal the backing off of.

This product is very attractive and pretty easy to install. It was recommended to me to use an additional adhesive and I agree. While the backing is super-sticky (be prepared to lose some skin!) it needs addtional adhesive to stay put. The install is fairly tedious as they are only 4" wide x 36" long. It took me a couple days, at least, to do 300 sq ft (with adhesive). Any imperfections in the floor (lumps, dips, etc) WILL telegraph on the finished product and make some areas harder to stick down. This is where the additional adhesive helps. But overall, it does pave over many lumps and bumps ok. Once you clean up the residue from install, the end result is really nice looking. Time will tell how this holds up in a rental.

I ordered this flooring for my sons playroom, my living room, and my son's bedroom. So far I have only done his playroom.. Its been 2 months and it still looks brand new. It was very easy to install, very durable and easy to clean, and very affordable. I am so happy I purchased this and not the type that you have click to install, that would of been so hard to do. All I used was a paper cutter and right angle to measure. Easy as pie, I worked on and off and got it down in a couple days.. Very, very happy with how it turned out!

My washing machine malfunctioned and messed up 4 rooms in my house. I didn't want any more carpet!!! ever! I have an older dog who has accidents at times and I was constantly pulling out the carpet shampooer. Thanks to this amazing product, that hassle is no longer a part of my life! The handyman who installed it said he was going to recommend it to clients who ask his opinion. That's saying something, I'd say. Could have got laminate cheaper but I have it in my rent property and I can't stand the noise it makes. Can't afford real wood and with my animals, it would be a hassle. I can't say enough how pleased I am. I really wasn't sold until it was completely installed (had doubts) but once it was finished I was pleased as punch! You won't be sorry but I do have to say that if the subfloor is not COMPLETELY clean, it won't stick.

This product seemed great at first. It was cheap and easy to install. However, after having it for three years now, I would not recommend it. It scratches very easily and doesn't stay glued well. It also chips and cracks easily. I would only recommend it if you are planning to sell your house, as it looks great when you first install it.

What is the difference between this and the Tranquility 1.5mm South Perry Pine Resilient Vinyl Flooring? Are they the same in color? I ran out of the South Perry Pine and am wondering if this would match? Online it looks identical.

                                    MAINTENANCE (Dos and DONTs)
                                    DO
                                    • Sweep or vacuum regularly.
                                    • Use cleaning products safe for vinyl planks.
•TEST cleaning products before use. Mineral spirits applied to a clean rag can be used for spot cleaning.
•Use non-staining casters, floor protectors on chair and table legs to distribute furniture weight and protect against scratches and
indentation damage. (TRANQUILITY planks are scratch resistance, not scratch proof).
                                    • Protect your floor against burns. Planks can be damaged by burns from a cigarette, matches, or other extremely hot items.
                                    • Protect your floor from tracked-in dirt and grit particles by using natural-fiber mats at all outside entrances. Take the time to
remove any imbedded grit particles from shoe soles before entering the room. Mats with rubber backings can cause permanent
                                    discoloration.
                                    • TRANQUILITY planks have good resistance to stains, not affected by most common household spills; however, any spill should be
cleaned up immediately. The longer the spilled material is left on the floor, the greater the risk of permanently staining the floor.
                                    DO NOT
                                    • Do not use paste wax or solvent-based polishes.
                                    • Do not use abrasive cleansers or mop with soap-based detergents, these products can leave a sticky film on your floor.
                                    • Track in tar or asphalt from driveways, as this can also discolor vinyl.
                                    • Use caution with stiletto type high heels on your floor, these can cause permanent damage.
                                    • Avoid the use of rubber or latex-backed mats, as certain rubber compounds can permanently stain vinyl
(Consult the mat manufacturer to determine if the backing is safe for vinyl planks).
                                    • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods; this can result in tile discoloration. Excessive temperatures might cause tile
expansion or edge curling. During peak sunlight hours, the use of drapes or blinds is recommended especially on patio doors, etc.,
                                    that receive intense sunlight.
                                    • (TRANQUILITY Peel and Stick planks are water-proof, however high moisture from the subfloor or flood mopping can adversely
affect the glue bond). DO NOT WASH INSTALLATION FOR 48 HOURS

                                    Resistant; Yes.
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage any floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.

                                    Concrete and Moisture
TrafficMaster Pro cement sealer (MFG Model # : SS96614) is highly recommended for moisture protection and improve adhesive performance on cement surfaces.
                                    • The surface must be smooth, clean, dry and free from dust.
                                    • Concrete floors must have polyethylene plastic film moisture barrier installed between the concrete and the ground.
•It is highly recommended that proper moisture tests be carried out on any slab. Although there are several methods that can be used, a (RH) Relative Humidity or calcium chloride method is preferred. Calcium Chloride test results should not exceed 3 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. in 24hours.
                                    • Peel and Stick planks are water-proof, however high subfloor moisture or flood mopping can adversely affect the glue bond.
                                    • Peel and Stick planks should not be installed on concrete floors where there is danger of hydrostatic pressure or water seepage.
                                    • All cracks in the concrete should be filed with a latex Portland cement-based patching compound. Patching areas need to be primed when dried. (Do not use gypsum-based patching compounds.)
                                    • Old adhesives from a previous installation should be removed by scraping before the new vinyl is installed.
                                    • Peel and Stick planks are not recommend for use over black asphalt cutback adhesives or over light-weight Gypcrete.

                                    • Peel and Stick planks may be installed over existing sheet vinyl floors that are well-bonded to the subfloor. NOTE: Cushion, foam-back or perimeter type floors, and VCT floorings are not recommended and should be removed.
