Comments about 48" Bamboo Horiz. Carbonized Tread:
We had the bamboo floor installed in a studio apartment above a new barn that we had built. We used the bamboo flooring, along with the matching stair pieces. It is just beautiful. The stairwell makes an excellent matching addition to the flooring.

Q:
can this product be layer in a herringbone pattern? We have some experience laying wood floor using staples. is there a different wood product that would be better?1 answer
A:
Unfortunately not as this is a random length product.Q:
Can you install this in a bathroom where it is subject to water1 answer
A:
Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
I love the look of this birch flooring; however, we do have several dogs. I have been told that Birch is a considerably softer wood than hickory or white oak. Does the finish have anything to do with it's durability, & resilience to scratches.... would you recommend this wood choice for us, or go with a harder wood1 answer
A:
Despite today's advanced finish technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.Q:
May I use "Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner" to clean my new Matterhorn Birch Handscraped floor?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor.Q:
