I have a cove on one wall in my sunken living room. I'm thinking about using stair risers to cover the cove and lay cork for the floor. I have a 6 foot opening/ stair edge with another 28 feet of cove. what materials do you think would work for this application? Also what type of stair bullnose would be appropriate for a cork floor. I'm thinking lisbon glue down cork, but I am willing to go with a floating cork floor. I also have a transition from tile in the kitchen to the current carpet. My subfloor is slab concrete.1 answer

If you like the cork you can use the cork flooring for the riser and the floor. We do not have a stair nosing for the cork tiles, but an aluminum stair nose can work. A vinyl floor or carpet supplier may have this type of stair nose. We may have a stair nose available for our floating cork flooring, but I suggest contacting our sales department to verify.
