Comments about Brazilian Cherry Laminate Stair Nose:
The stair nosing went on easily. It looks great with the rest of the flooring.
Comments about Brazilian Cherry Laminate Stair Nose:
Does what it's suppose to.
Comments about Brazilian Cherry Laminate Stair Nose:
I had hoped for this floor to look more like actual wood. It was easy to install, and it is easy to clean. I simply didn't know enough about the product before purchasing..had I known, I definitely would have purchased engineered or actual hardwood. As it is currently, my living room looks like a giant kitchen or, even worse, like a roller skating rink with couches.

A:
I would be glad to help you with this application question.Q:
you mention that the stair nose and laminate should be glued to the tread, and do not use padding under the laminate when applying to stairs. confused1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Some floating laminate flooring has padding attached, this needs to be removed when using on stairs for adhesive to stick. Laminate without padding attached generally needs underlayment padding except when used on stairs. Many installers frown on the use of laminate on full stair cases, local building codes should also be checked.Q:
My Engineered flooring will run perpendicular to the stairs. Will the stair nosing still work?2 answers
A:
Yes, the nosing is designed to overlap the flooring (to allow for expansion) and does not click to the laminate.CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes because it overlaps. For details type, "transition" here - http://www.lumberliquidators.com/custserv/aboutus.jsp?pageName=Flooring101Q:

How do I install laminate and stair nosing on stairs1 answer
A:
The laminate is glued to the plywood treads and risers with a urethane wood flooring adhesive. If the laminate has a pad attached it will have to be removed. The pad will not bond to the adhesive. Cut the laminate to fit the length of the treads and risers. The front edge of the tread will be finished with the laminate stair nosing. The stair nosing is screwed and glued to the tread. The installation should start at the bottom of the steps working your way to the top. Install the riser first and then the tread and finish off with the stair nosing. Do this for each step until you reach the top to the stairs. Make sure you have the stair nosing on site before you begin installation.Q:
I recently installed laminate wood flooring in my upstairs loft and I would really like to install it on my stairs. I have about 14 steps. the first ten then a 180 degree turn and the last 4. I need the stair nose for the steps. Will i need to special order flush mounted stair noses for the steps and the regular stair nose for the top step?1 answer
