Schön Quick Clic engineered flooring is constructed with a real hardwood veneer atop a moisture-resistant HDF core (high density fiberboard) which is made from real wood fibers that are compressed into a dense, impact-resistant format. In addition to providing extra protection against denting, the HDF enables the most precise milling of the locking profile to enhance ease of use and long-term durability. Quick Highlights: Did you know? Don't forget the molding and stair treads!

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry:
I have used Schon before and really like the product. The finish looks great a stands up very well. Goes down very easily. Last time I used it, the box contained MANY different lengths. This time they only give you 4-47", 2-29",2-18" and the rest of the box is all 23-1/2" pieces. Lots of 2' pieces and it gets hard to install anything but the 24" pieces. It would be very helpful to get varied lenghts so that you could alternate easier. In the end it still looks great.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry:
Excellent product! We already have 4 rooms in the house and we are planning to complete the rest of the first floor with it. Excellent finish, very shiny.
Anyhow DON'T get any stock from mill code SBW. The finish is completely different, very dull and satin. Feels like it is covered with dust.
Stock that I got for the other rooms from other mills were fantastic.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry:
Love our new bedroom floors. Was sick of the looks and cost of cleaning the carpeting. The new engineered Brazilian cherry goes well with the old Brazilian cherry solid hardwood floors in adjoining rooms. Had considered installing it ourselves, but had it professionally installed by lumber liquidators. Worth every penny.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry:
I have used dozens of different styles of click floors. Most click easily along one edge but many require a lot of effort and pounding to secure butt edges. The Schon Quick Clic just drops in place. Just finished a 450 SF floor in 2-1/2 hour install time. Due to easy install, I can sell my clients the higher quality Schon floor for less overall cost compared to cheaper floor products.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry:
I had this installed by a pro in my family room in my walk-out basement and thank goodness for the invention of the floating floor, and it is more beautiful than expected. This replaced carpet and although it is not as soft, it is very pratical. I have a few pets as well. Gorgeous color and finish. Too soon to tell how durable, I've only had it less than a week. Engineered wood is a beautiful product. First time using it.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry:
We were able to install the floors throughout our condo in about 4 days, including lots of cuts. The biggest downfall is that because of the tongue and groove, you can only use a board once after it is cut so we ended up having to throw lots of boards away. We have had them for 3 months now and have a small dog and have no scratches or dents what so ever. I was nervous about scratches after reading other comments, but we have had no problems. They are beautiful, even nicer than we thought they would be. Luckily my dad is good at wood cutting, otherwise my husband and I would not have been able to install these ourselves. More difficult than we realized around door jams, in closets, etc. Very easy in the main floor. Wish there was more variety in board length to avoid having a pattern on the floor. More difficult to make it look random.

Very well machined flooring that went together flwlessly. It looks great and has a thicker wear layer than the bargain stuff or laminate.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry:
I had pros do the installation - got them through LL and they did an excellent job. The floors seemed to go in easily, but since i did not do the work myself, did not make any claims about ease of install. The color variations aren't too great, but there are a few pieces that are much lighter than the rest. The crew placed those well and I have no issues with their choices. They floor is quiet when walking on it with the underlayment we chose. I was happy to see that the transition pieces were a perfect match even though the brand is different. The high traffic area of my house is still tile and will reamin that way, but if went to a different house I'd be inclined to use this all over!

Q:
I understand that the procuct is to be installed from left to right and by adding rows and that the flooring snaps in at a 45 degree angle - I have two adjoining rooms separated by a wall - I will be starting in the living room an laying 4 feet deep of floor in the living room- the next row will run into the adjoining hallway on the right - the hallway and living room run parallel from the top (meaning I have to lay floor above where I am entering the hallway (back towards the 1st row installed in the living room).1 answer
A:
Please contact me directly and I would be glad to answer any of your installation questions.Q:
We were told that the Brazilian Cherry wood darkens over time. Will rugs and furniture hamper the process??1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, when not exposed to UV light (like when covered with a rug), it will stay the same as when installed until it exposed. Rotating rugs and furniture can even out the process. When completely exposed, color will even out with time.Q:
Can you use Murphy's soap on the wood floors?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Absolutely no oil cleaners of any kind should be used on urethane finish. For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.Q:
I am looking to install this product in my living/dining room area. I also have a step to my basement I need to cover with wood.looking at accessories and a previous question, it says to use a laminate stair nose. Why would one install wood floors but be force to put laminate on their steps. Is there another stair nose recommended besides laminate? Because if not this will not be the product that we'll use.1 answer
A:
For the Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Brazilian Cherry the proper stair nose is an overlap stair nose. The sku # for the correct stair nose is 10002837. This stair nose is secured to the subfloor and the lip of the nosing sits on top the Brazilian Cherry flooring. Use glue and finish nails to secure the stair nose.Q:
Hi, I am interested in this product. I have some questions as below.1 answer
A:
You can locate all of our MSDS sheets on our Flooring 101 link at the bottom of our website the other information requested will be attached to that MSDS you are searching forQ:
can I use the Bissell Steam & Sweep cleaner on my Brazilian Cherry engineered? The instructions on the Bissell say that I can use the steamer if the wood is sealed.1 answer
A:
We do not recommend steam mops or Roomba Scooba robots on our laminates or on any of our wood floor products. Although appropriate for kitchen sheet vinyl or ceramic tiles, wood, laminate and cork floorings have raw seam edges that can swell or cup with use of these cleaning methods. We recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
What are the lenghts of the boards in the box? and is the same for all quick click species or just Brazilian Cherry?1 answer
A:
These engineered floors will come in different length planks, and that is true for most of flooring with the exception of bamboo, handscraped and laminates. A few of our laminates will have random lengths as wellQ:

I also ordered the same square footage of the ECO Silent Sound HD Underlay for the moisture barrier/sound application. This flooring material will be used only in all bedrooms in a single story house in Las Vegas, NV.1 answer
