We bought this on sale for our basement remodel. The instructions were as bad as IKEA instructions and weren't even close to being helpful. The first row went in fine but hooking the second row in was a nightmare. After a lot of google searches and reading message boards, discovered the following. To hook the second row (and any row their after) into the previous row, connect the short end pieces of the second row together for the whole length, placing the tongue onto top of and not into the groove of the previous row. Once that row is complete, use painter's tape to keep the pieces connected. Then, like a zipper, work for one end all the way down, connecting the rows. It was easiest to get the board in at a 30 degree angle all the way down then go back and jiggle it down flat, using the rubber mallet for any tough parts. Once you figure this out, it is worth it and so much easier!!

the pad is already attached, so just measure, cut and install. its that simple!did the install of 232 sq feet in 3 hours!

This product looks great when finished, but it was easiest to install by putting a whole run togeter and then locking it it. If you have under cuts to do, use a better procuct! And if you are not careful, the edges chip very easily!
The product was easy to use, generally speaking... it just took awhile to figure the best way to install it. I discovered it was much easier to connect the ends and tap the side together. The underlay matting picked easily on the sub floor so you may want to lay plastic before hand.

Floor really looks good, however it wasn't the easiest to install. Couldn't do it myself, had to call a friend for help because whole rows have to be put together at once. If I put down any more laminate I'll upgrade to a better quality product with an easier click together install. "You get what you pay for"
We did not install the flooring ourselves, so we cannot comment on the ease of installation, but we are very happy with the results in our home.
We used this for my computer room & it looks great
Was very easy to lay and cut to fit. One of the easiest I've used.

I have purchased several laminant flooring products for rental houses and have been satisfied but my proffessional installer had fits with this product. It has a double locking system and is very brittle and is difficult to install . I bought it for 3 houses and aft3er the first house I am returning it and getting another product

No need for tape, I usually just overlap about three inches. You may need to tack the ends down to prevent it rolling back up on you.
