    What are the dimensions of T-moldings-----particular--the width of the T that is not seen----how much space should be left between tile and hardwood?

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

      T-molding should be 1-19/32" wide at the top. You will generally need 1" between the two floors to accommodate the U-Track and recommended expansion gap. This is for laminate floating flooring. For details type, "T-Molding" here - http://www.lumberliquidators.com/ll/flooring/Flooring101

    How does this T molding fasten to the floor? I will be installing the wood laminate on a concrete slab floor in bedroom, transitioning to carpeted floor in hallway.

      You can drill & anchor or use a 100% urethane construction adhesive to glue the track down.
