Comments about French Oak Laminate Stair Nose:

Picked up 4 pieces of Stair Nose that was discontinued, and the store salesman found 4 more at another store which I had shipped to me. All was perfectly matching the flooring I laid, and was just the right amount. Very good experience with LL.

it was what we needed, but i didn't like having to buy the whole 7.5' when we only needed 3'. but i guess that's become the standard (you can't even cut your own at [...]anymore....sigh....)

You will need to do a 45 degree miter cut on the stair nose at the corner of each step.

              • Q:

I am curious if there is a way to install this stair nosing without adhesive, or screwing through the nosing itself. Is there a thin-track to fasten it down like there is with the other transition peices?

                  A:

No, this does not have a track because it needs to be secured directly to the edge for safety reasons.
