The Good:(which by the way far outweighs the bad)

I recently installed this product in my home office ,large hallway and Den. This is my first experience with vinyl click together flooring and after you get the hang of it it's pretty easy to install. I can tell you that the floor itself is pretty much bullet proof (at least when it's new for sure), dropped a hammer off my ladder onto the new floor and no mark ,no scuff,no dent, nothing! The flooring looks really nice upon completion.

The not so Good or at least things to think about

    1. Let's face it there is going to be a trade off for using a Vinyl product that is made to look like something else. I really don't think anybody is going to walk into my home and mistake this product for hardwood floors.

    2. The finish on this product is sort of a satin type look, if your looking for something high gloss this isn't it. The floor looks very nice when it's very clean(as it should be anyway)

    3. There will be some planks in your installation that just don't want to stay together, I think I read in the product documentation that anything below 5% is not considered defective. There will be some fine tuning after your installation , just count on it !

Over all this seems to be a great product, after reading some of the reviews here and other forums I'm somewhat skeptical of the 50 year warranty and what it actually covers and under what circumstances.. that being said this product installs easily and is easy to remove if it doesn't work out , certainly looks better , is cheaper and will last longer than carpet, kind of hard to go wrong !

The installation was easy, and the final product looks great. We are looking forward to the benefits of a water resistant floor.

The only negative I found with this floor is that there did not seem to be quite enough variety in the design and we had to be very careful during installation to make sure identical pieces were placed far enough apart to be inconspicuous.

I love the new floor! It is perfect for our bedroom bathroom combined space. It is wonderful that it is able to get wet without any problems because it's vinyl, and yet it looks like wood because it is planking. The only semi-issue we had with it is that we needed to pay close attention to the patterns so that we didn't duplicate a look nearby. Because the planks' patterns are mirrored, reversed, and cut differently; this wasn't too hard to overcome. There was a good variety in each box. The thickness was a plus as well.

Only have it less than a week but am thrilled with it. While it does show scuffs and water marks you have to really be picky and look for them and they wipe up with a damp paper towel. Does not scratch even with four dogs running around. So much better than the laminate we replaced which fell apart in less than a year. It was a little more expensive but so worth it. It is a hand scraped look and really looks like real hardwood. Puppy accidents sit on top and wipe right up with no penetration or damage. So far, so very good! We chose to have Lumber Liquidators install it and we couldn't have been happier with them. Professional, courteous, friendly, which is important when you are doing so much and they are with you for three days! My only comment is that while they did clean up their installation mess behind them it did not include them cleaning the floor and we would have liked that.

Open your boxes and lay out product to match grain before starting. Large broken up areas require careful measurements to determine start point for width of planks, and stagger pattern for ends. Product looks good now, time will tell.

I chose this flooring for installation in a seasonal cottage on Kelleys Island in Lake Erie OH. So far, so good. I have used 50 boxes with no issue at all. The flexibility of the vinyl is great and makes for a nice easy install. Just score with a razor knife and snap for cuts (like drywall). I wish the product was a little less expensive since it's not any real wood, but it looks great and is super durable, water proof, etc.

Great replacement option for carpet, or laminate, flooring in my rental properties. Low cost, high life expectancy. Very durable and beautiful to look at. Can replace/repair damaged sections instead of having to replace whole rooms of flooring. I get 3 to 5 years wear out of carpet and expect to get 10+ years out of this product.

Vinyl is largely unaffected by moisture. Only major flooding can affect it's dimensional integrity. Urine however is a caustic and should be towel clean as soon as possible.

Any vinyl floor safe cleaner can be used. Always test in an unexposed area.

Do not use paste wax or solvent-based polishes.
Do not use abrasive cleansers or mop with soap-based detergents, these products can leave a sticky film on your floor .

This is a vinyl (resilient) product, I would get some samples to see if it "tough enough" for your dogs nails.
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.
                                      Thank you for your inquiry.

What is the coefficient of friction on this floor? I'm looking for something that is not slippery when it is wet.
