Purchased the 12mm Golden Teak Laminate during your big sale and I must say it was the best money I've spent all year! Love how my home looks after the floors were installed. The employees at the Charlotte location were very helpful, as well.

We got such a great price, we thought about doing more of our house with it. We always get compliments on it. It looks great! We put down thin moisture barrier and used the padding incuded. It is sturdy, low sound, and looks amazing!

really disappointed in the the floor overall. Sales person said it was durable etc....but it has been installed for less than 5 days and I already see all kinds of corner and places along the edges where the laminate has chipped off.
My professional installer did an excellent job of putting the floor in but had trouble in tight spots with breaking and chipping.
I would not recommend this floor to anyone!
IT is beautiful and I like that part but I do not like how fragile it seems.
I'm a single person and in 4 days of living with the floor its in bad shape.
Hardwood would have been better. At least that can be refinished.

I really like the color. It does seems darker than the sample or on website which I do like so I'm glad we did not choose the darker Imperial color even though I liked it. Very nice for laminated flooring. I can see in the future it possibly chipping on corners since I just had it installed and noticed slight chips on edges (not very many)but time will tell. Great for price and would definitely recommended.

It's a good project for a weekend warrior but you might need more than a weekend. I had carpet in my kitchen, laundry room, dining room and hallway. It took me 2 days to prepare for the flooring and 7 days to lay the new stuff down. Having good tools is a must (chop saw, table saw) I would recommend an oscillating saw for cutting under the door trim.

This floor was installed about four months ago and I am having a problem with edge chipping. Just about every plank in high traffic areas have this problem. The veneer on the planks is too thin.

I purchased this from the website sight unseen. It was perfect, I couldn't be happier. I had this installed by a contractor not associated with lumber liquidators and he did a magnificient job. The floors look so good that now I will have to paint my walls. Lumber Liquidators has the best prices and even better customer service. I will definantly purchase from them again.
Service and delivery comments:
This came in sooner than expected and when it was picked up it was all in excellant condition. I chose to have my brother in law pick this up for me.

The product looks great. I brought home several samples from different stores and this one looked the closest to "real wood." Now that we have the flooring down in our family room I have to admit that I can tell it's not wood, but as far as laminate goes I think this is as close as you're going to get.
The golden teak was a good choice for us because we have a very dark wood staircase and kitchen cabinets...so a dark wood floor would have been too much for our space.
We are so happy with the product that we plan to do the whole bottom floor of our house this spring.

Q:
Can you change direction of the Kensington Manor Golden teak "V" groove flooring without a "T" strip?1 answer
A:
Unfortunately not.Q:
I am confused on whether to add an additional pad to my laminate. On the opening information on my laminate it suggests the Bellawood pad under my laminate which has a thick pad already. However, I have read else where that this weakens the joints after a period of time.1 answer
A:
The Bellawood underlayment is firm enough to support a laminate with attached padding.Q:
I know this floor comes with a pre-attached underlayment but if it is put down on top of a gypsum board floor does it require additional underlayment like the foam underlayment sold by Lumber Liquidators.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4-6" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Gypsum board is not a subfloor board but a wall or ceiling board.Q:
Do you suggest using this product on stairs as well? I'm worried that the lip caused by the Stair Nose section will be more of a tripping hazard than simply using carpet.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Generally you would cut off the overlapping stair nose and then install laminate nosing and flooring. However, laminate flooring and nosing isn't a great idea for stairs, fine for one or two steps but we caution the use of it on an entire staircase. People do it but it can be unsafe. Check your local building codes. Hardwood flooring and nosing works great, when laminate IS used you must fully glue with100% urethane adhesive without the use of padding, padding attached laminate must have paddling scraped offQ:
I recently had this floor put down and it looks beautiful. I understand "no standing water" or spray mops. My dogs do drip a bit on the floor after drinking from the bowl. Are a few random drops of water on the floor ok, or will that cause the product to warp or change colors?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Smaller drops of water are no problem for laminate flooring, it's flooding spills that are left that cause issues.Q:
Can I use any laminate floor cleaning product on this floor. I was reading warnings on a cleaner and said not to be used on waxed floors1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.Q:
Does this come in 6 foot lengths?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This comes in random length like natural hardwood. 20 5/8", 26 7/8", and 47 1/2" lengths.Q:
How wide are these planks?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
5-1/4" Wide.Q:
Can you put this floor in a bathroom1 answer
A:
Yes you can use this material in a bathroomQ:
We ordered this flooring and took home samples. We're concerned that when when installed, there is going to be a height difference between the different pieces due to the hand carved texture that the flooring has. The samples that we have when butted together, lengthwise, has height differences and chips - what will an entire floor do?? I don't want to spend that much money on a new floor if that is the case!1 answer
A:
The flooring should not chip, if it is chipped coming out of the box those boards can be counted towards your waste factor and if over the allowable percentage according to the National Wood Flooring Association they will be replaced at the store level. The difference in height on these planks is to be expected because of the texture and handscraping - the height difference should not be anymore than the industry standards according the NWFA for handscraped materials
