This product looks good but I would not buy it again. I have installed several different similiar products but this is the hardest yet. The product varies on width of the planks so much it is next to impossible to maintain a straight line. Some of the planks will not even "lock" in. I was to far along on the project to pack up the product and take it back. I believe it is poor engineering of the locking system. I am going to try to glue the loose boards down and live with the varying joint widths.

This is a great product! If you can't use hardwood like us (we are on a slab) this is the way to go. It looks so much like real hardwood you have to do a double take. It was easy to install & we love it!

We installed this floor in three bedrooms and a hallway, totaling about 750 square feet. It only took us 3 evenings of working (after we would get off of our normal jobs). The fold in feature for the short ends of the plank make it an easy install because there is no tapping required to lock the planks together end to end. Two of the bedrooms were connected by the hallyway, and after undercutting the door jams we ran the floor completely thru both rooms and the hall with no transistion, making a gorgeous layout of flooring! All in all it was a pleasant experience and everyone in the house is extremely satisfied with the look, feel, and sound of this product.

The store in Sherman, Tx is staffed by some of the most heplful, respectful people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They were very knowledgable about this product and recommended matching moldings to transistion to different floors. The managers all took their time and really walked me through the process, which is one of the main reasons that was such a positive experience! Anyone in the North Texas area needing flooring, don't waste your time going to multiple stores, go straight to the best!

I like the product very much. Although I had boxes with two different Manufacture dates, 1/25/12 & 4/16/12. This caused a problem when installing. The same dated boards mated with ease. When mixing the different dates they did not mate very well because the tongue and grooves were machined slightly different. I only wish I had boxes with the same manufacture date.

Beautiful once installed, however, installation is not as easy as they lead you to believe. As another reviewer said, not all pieces will go together easily. You will go along for four to five rows just fine, then get a bunch of pieces that do not want to lock.
There are not enough spacers in the kit, and they are not great to work with; we used screws on the ends to hold away from wall(being it will be under baseboard anyway).

was given 2 differenr production dates from same place. They look the same but do not fit each other. Lucky to have areas that fit what was given. If possible always get same production date and plant.

I purchased a home recently and wanted to replace all the carpet that was in the house. I chose this floor because of the color and quality. I knew it would look good, but I never imagined how great it would look once installed. I purchased 88 boxes to cover entire house, except for the kitchen and bathrooms. This floor was very easy to cut and install. I've installed about 44 boxes and have yet to find a damaged piece.

I like the looks of this over the carpet I had installed a couple of years ago. Easy to install, very little waste. Only had one box out of 40 that had marred boards. My only complaint is that they advertise that the stair nose gives you a smooth transition to the stair boards but that is hardly the case. The stair nose is about a 1/4" higher, and as my stairs are very narrow to step on, it makes it very awkward.

The 12mm Gunstock Oak Laminate was the very best laminate flooring I could find and I looked everywhere. It has multiple patterns (just like real wood), fits together flawlessly, is super-tough (which is important for our two dog family,) and looks absolutely beautiful. The installer we used has an excellent reputation in our area, has installed hundreds of laminate floors, and calls this product one of the best he has seen in his 15 years in the installation business.

We installed Gunstock Oak 12 mm laminate in our livingroom/diningroom/kitchen. It looks amazing. My husband did it all himself. We put it right over top of our wood floor. We were tired of how easily our wood was getting scratched so we replaced it w this laminate. We moved a fridge arcross it and not one scratch!! Its also so easy to clean. Just sweep it daily, no mopping!! Oh and we have 2 kids and an 140lb dog and its proved to be very durable.
