Ispiri Collection by Dream Home - 12mm Heritage Long Length Oak- Laminate Flooring- 30 Year Warranty

Pre-glued underlayment is attached. Its V-groove click system makes it a snap to install and the random lengths from 2ft to 6ft give your floors a real look and feel.

Quick Installation Tips:
- Store flooring flat for 48 hours in its original packaging at room temperature.
- Must be installed over a clean, stable, flat, smooth, and dry surface.
- Moisture barrier is required for installations over concrete.
- Make sure the panels are mixed sufficiently when you install them so that you do not end up with too many identical, light or dark panels next to each other.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ADDITIONAL PADDING:
Laminates having pre-attached padding can be installed over an underlayment. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of our Bellawood Premium underlayment or ECO Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments will best support the joints while ensuring superior thermal sound reduction qualities and are highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.

Ispiri Collection's Advantages:
- No glue and no nails needed
- Easy Click Installation
- Moisture resistant board
- Thickness: 12mm + 3mm (1/8") pre-glued underlayment
- AC Rating: 3
- 30 Year Warranty

We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)

floor looks very good - we're happy.....we'll see in 5-8 years how durable. It's not as easy to install as they'd have you believe. However, the floor looks very good. We're happy.

This is my second floor that I purchased from Lumber Liquidators. Like the first it was easy to install and has a nice appearance. The first is 2 years old and still looks like new when cleaned. This one looks very nice and cleans up wonderfully.

Comments about Dream Home - Ispiri 12mm Heritage Long Length Oak Laminate:

I installed 800 sq ft of tap and lock prior to this product. Once it was tap together it didn't move. The 12mm Heritage wouldn't stay tight until you got 3 or more rows done. This was a pain #!*#. Constantly tapping together the floor to get it to stay together. Needs better engineering of the fastening system !! This problem may be from the fact that these are large planks and their weight pulls them apart, since they are slightly elevated until completely locked in. I bought a Laminate Tile cutter that was rated for 15 mm to stop the dust, worked very good except for the fact the 7.5 inch tiles are to wide for the cutter. I had to work around this problem. Wish I would have been told this at the time of purchase at the store. I would have spent more money for a wider cutting tool. After all the problems the heavy 12mm with attached pad, plus using an additional pad has created a very nice surface!!!

The flooring was much wider than we had realized as it was not apparent that it was that wide from the pictures we looked at online. However, I like the wide boards, looks like wood planking. Just be aware that each slat is 7.5 inches wide when you order it.

Beautiful look, not too dark and not too light. We were indecisive about the original options we looked at, but as soon as the sales reps (who were all extremely helpful, honest and professional) placed the sample on the floor in the store and we took a glance, we agreed this is the one. No regrets. Most real-looking with a matte-like finish and wide boards. Guys installing had a simple time doing so and they were all beginners. Looks great!!!

                              A:

Our wood floors are manufactured for maximum durability, easy maintenance and finished with a high quality aluminum oxide water base urethane UV cured finish. This step protects the wood and helps keep the flooring looking beautiful longer. While highly durable, the finish is NOT considered indestructible. However, by observing a few precautions like setting up a regular cleaning routine and simple maintenance program to protect the finish, you can expect years of performance and beauty from your wood floor. All wood floors can show signs of wear over time. There are many factors that can affect the amount of wear. These include the size and lifestyle of your family and product location.
                              The following cleaning principles are recommended for all of our products -Hardwood, Laminates, Corks, Bamboo and other Exotics. Outlined are examples of the reasonable and necessary maintenance to be performed; this is only intended to be a basic list;
                              • Immediately after installation, be certain that the flooring is completely cleaned and dry as described below. If you must protect the flooring from traffic, use only “craft” paper, brown, red or white, this will allow the flooring to “breathe”. Do not fully cover the flooring. NEVER lay plastic of any kind or any other non-porous material over the flooring as this can trap moisture, harm the flooring or fade the finish.
                              • Sweep or vacuum regularly, since built-up dirt, grit and sand can damage the surface of the wood. If using a vacuum, use a soft brush attachment -NOT A BEATER BAR ATTACHMENT. Be certain the wheels of the vacuum are clean and do not damage the finish. When using a broom be certain that bristles are soft. You can also use a dry mop.
                              • Because of the myriad of cleaning products available and methods of each application, Lumber Liquidators cannot endorse or oversee the use of any Brand Name of floor cleaner. We do recommend cleaning products safe for urethane finishes such as our Bellawood floor cleaner.
                              • The use of a changeable terry cloth type system to clean the floor is highly recommended; apply cleaning solution to the terry cloth not the floor.
                              • NEVER use oil soaps, liquid, or paste wax products or other household cleaners that contain lemon oil, Tung oil, silicone, or ammonia on pre-finished flooring. The use of these products will harm the long-term performance and appearance of your floor and may affect future re-coating. (Damages caused by non-recommended cleaning products are not covered by warranties). NOTE: This also includes the use of vinegar and water solutions as water can damage wood. Vinegar is an acidic element that can have an oxidizing, caustic effect on the finish.
                              • In an effort to clean hardwood floors, many have experimented with a variety of cleaners on the market and end up with a new problem. “How to remove the build-up of cleaning products revealing the original surface"? If this is the case with you, we recommend consulting with a professional cleaner local to your area because they can best see the details involved and make the most accurate recommendations. If you choose to remove the layers of build-up yourself, use cotton rags instead of a mop to control the amount of liquid used.
                              • NEVER wet-mop, damp-mop, swab or flood your floor with water or any other product. Moisture can seep into the seams causing edge-cupping damage. Urethane floors do not require wet mopping. Natural floors are water resistant, not water proof. Remove all spills promptly using a soft, slightly damp cloth
                              • STEAM CLEANERS OR WET-JET swiffer; Lumber Liquidators does not recommend "Water brooms" "Wet-Jet Swiffers or steamer type cleaners on laminates, corks or hardwood floors. Although steamers may work well cleaning OTHER types of hard surface flooring, the 130° to 240° heated steam vapor can ruin wood or urethane finish resulting in warped or cupped flooring. Water and wood do not mix well, especially steam. Use these products at your own risk.
                              • Do place protective mats at entry doors to keep dirt, grit, sand and moisture from being track in from the outside.
                              • Do use area rugs in heavily traveled areas and pivot points (e.g., stair landings, room entries, etc.), especially if you have a large family or indoor pets.
                              • When using area rugs, use a rug pad with a felt, plant or PVC based backing. DO NOT use area rugs with a petroleum based rubber backing (typically black) as this can cause permanent chemical staining/etching of the floor finish.
                              • Take reasonable precautions; use a dolly and protective sheets of plywood when moving heavy objects such as furniture and appliances.

Laminate flooring is naturally durable; learn how to keep it looking great while standing up to the toughest household conditions.
Follow routine maintenance guidelines to clean your laminate flooring:
Use a damp cloth to blot up spills as soon as they happen. Never allow liquids to stand on your floor.
For tough spots, such as oil, paint, markers, lipstick, ink, or tar, use mineral spirits on a clean white cloth, then wipe the area with a damp cloth to remove any remaining residue.
Sweep, dust, or vacuum the floor regularly with the hard floor attachment (not the beater bar) to prevent accumulation of dirt and grit that can scratch or dull the floor finish.
Periodically clean the floor with cleaning products made specifically for laminate floor.
Do not wash or wet mop the floor with soap, water, oil-soap detergent, or any other liquid cleaning material. This could cause swelling, warping, delaminating, and joint-line separation, and void the warranty.
Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or strong ammoniated or chlorinated type cleaners.
Do not use any type of buffing or polishing machine.
For spots such as candle wax or chewing gum, harden the spot with ice and then gently scrape with a plastic scraper, such as a credit card. Be careful not to scratch the flooring surface. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
A more frequent dust-mopping or vacuuming schedule may be required in very sandy areas such as a beach home.
Protect your laminate flooring to keep it looking like new:
Entry mats will help collect the dirt, sand, grit, and other substances such as oil, asphalt, or driveway sealer that might otherwise be tracked onto your floor.
To prevent slippage of area rugs, use an approved vinyl rug underlayment.
Use floor protectors and wide-load bearing leg bases/rollers to minimize t he chance of indentations and scratches from heavy objects. As a rule, the heavier the object, the wider the floor protector.
Maintain a normal indoor relative humidity level between 35% and 65% throughout the year to minimize the natural expansion and contraction of the wood.

Heating season (Dry under 20%): A humidifier is recommended to prevent excess shrinkage due to low humidity levels. Wood stove and electric heat tend to create very dry conditions.

Non heating season (Wet over 65%): An air conditioner, dehumidifier or periodically turning on your heating system can maintain humidity during the summer months. Avoid excessive exposure to water during periods of inclement weather.

Avoid excessive exposure to water during periods of inclement weather.
Keep your pets nails trimmed to prevent them from scratching your floor.
Never try to slide heavy objects across the floor.
A protective mat should be used for furniture or chairs with castors.

                              A:

                              What is an AC rating?
The common term used to denote the durability level of laminate flooring is its, Abrasion Criteria or “AC” rating. AC ratings are an abbreviated representation of a laminate’s overlay film resistance to abrasion, impact, stains and cigarette burns. The ratings also indicate that the product has been tested for the effects of furniture legs, castors, and swelling along its edges. When a laminate flooring product has a rating, then it has passed all of the test criteria. Failing just one test will disqualify a product.
The AC rating levels are designated AC1 through AC5. Each is represented by international pictographs reflecting the product’s application and durability. The primary application is divided into two groups: residential and commercial. Each group is further divided into traffic intensity levels: moderate, general, or heavy. An AC1 rating which is the lowest should only be used in light-traffic area’s. At the other end of the scale is AC5 which is produced for the commercial market and for use in very high-traffic area’s. A laminate flooring rating of AC2 or AC3 is found on flooring tailored to the domestic and residential market. As can be seen, Laminate ratings are beneficial to customers for product comparison shopping. If you are tempted by some very cheap laminate flooring, be cautious, you may find that it hasn't received any type of AC rating indicating it failed to meet the minimum requirements. During product testing, if it fails on just one single test, then approval for that laminate flooring rating is denied. For residential use, a rating of AC3 is perfectly adequate. Typically the higher the laminate flooring rating, the higher the price may be. The test devised for abrasion resistance. Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately there is not spec for the fire rating for this product.
