I really like this product. I looked at many different styles and finally settled on this one just days after it hit the store shelf. The colors and patterns in this floor are great. There are 8 different pattern styles to the boards allowing for plenty of variation while installing. Be sure to buy plenty and open many boxes at a time laying out all the patterns before you start laying the floor. Some boxes might only contain 3 or 4 of the patterns in the 6 planks per box so opening many is very important to get a good layout. The locking mechanism was only slightly tricky the first 3-4 boards, but then is an easy breeze after that.
These are by no means negatives about this product, but a few things I found that will help in the installation. Again laying out many boards to see the 8 different patterns is very important. Before trying to lock one piece to the next be sure to check the corners and joints, little pieces of scrap from the milling/cutting process would sometimes be stuck or hanging from a thread on a corner. If you try to lock the boards down with that little scrap in the joint it will go together hard or not at all, or will end up having a raised corner, and you don't want. Just double check each piece, and the joint you are putting it in, before putting it down. I also found after you line the piece up and are ready to press it down to lock it in, rock it back and forth 3-4 times as you move it down and it wiggles the joint together nice and tight for no problems. 2-3 taps of your palm down the edge and you are on to the next board.
Overall I am very satisfied with this floor and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice lighter color flooring of this style.
