Put this over concrete floor in my basement that had carpet previously. The floor was extremely dirty and dust covered from years of carpet and pad. Spent a lot of time prepping the floor and had no problems with the planks sticking. In fact I had to buy some goo gone to remove some excess glue spots on some of the planks. I think the floor looks amazing! Covered 850+ square feet of family room.

          Poor Quality

          By Poor Floor Guy

          from Georgia

Extremely disappointed in this product. After hours of prep work and following the instructions listed on box and a brief class from the local store. The floor edges curled up and came loose from the floor. I even used the special floor glue the local Lumber Liq guy told me to buy.

Putting this flooring down was a nightmare. The concrete floor was prepped, but the strips of flooring would not stick. One whole box of the flooring had very little glue on the pieces. I let the boxes of flooring sit to get adjusted to the temp inside the house but the backing on the flooring strips would not come off. I finally ended up buying a heat gun to heat the strips of flooring so the backing would come off and glue would stick to the concrete.

I like this floor and it was easy to install. keep your fingers off the ends or they don't stick as well. Taking the backing off was a bit cumbersome but not that bad. I would get additional adhesive to use on plywood underlayment. I used a primer but it didn't do what I wanted it to do so I do have some that arent completely staying down . They aren't lifting but some pop up every once in awhile. I love it in my living room since I work with a dog rescue and have many "accidents" with the dogs. It's so nice just to use a dust mop and a squirt mom to have a nice fresh floor. I would recommend this because for the price it is very nice. It's not a shiny floor and is darker than it appears in the picture but I love it. I am going to put it in my kitchen too and maybe the bedroom.

We are using this product in our restored vintage travel trailer. It looks great and is extremely easy to lay, however it is hard to make it stick down. Due to the trailer having a confined space, a 100lb roller is not possible to use. We cleaned the floors thoroughly before install too. Hopefully they will stick soon! Would use in a house perhaps.

The floor looks nice but the adhesive isn't so great. I would recommend using some sort of adhesive with it. Some is staying down well but I am having problems with one room. I followed the directions.

                              Service and delivery comments:

Flooring came in quickly but there was some sort of mix up with the trim. Staff at the store didn't call back when they said they would. Customer service was not helpful as all they told me to do was call the store.

Used this in the Laundry room and Kitchen because of water issues. Easy to clean and care for. Installing was easy and simple. The color of the planks were consistent and no I didn't pull a few planks from this box then that box, I just pulled from one box at a time. Now the sticky back is sticky and your hands will be really sticky but you can get that off easy with a little WD40.

I installed this product all on my own in my daughters room. My husband helped me take out the carpet that was in the room. She has bad allergies so we wanted to get rid of the carpet. I only used a box cutter and a straight edge. I needed no assistance and completed the room within a few hours. I think the product looks great. We were about to purchase more for another bedroom in the house...but...the only down side is that the new rubber smell is still strong. It has been only a week since installation so we hope that the smell goes away. Fortunately my daughter likes the smell. My husband and I think it is terrible. If the smell does go away soon, we will purchase more of this product for our home flooring projects. If not, we will have to go with something less smelly!

Is this product a good choice for cats who may use their claws when running across the floor? Example: If scratched, does the plank reveal a different color inside, or is the color consistent throughout the thickness of the planks?

I love the peel/stick vinyl concept, but want to make sure I'm ordering flooring that will be compatible with multiple pets. I don't expect anything to be scratch-proof, but if the scratches were not extremely visible, that would be a plus.

If this isn't the correct product for me, can you recommend something else that is comparable in price and ease of installation?

                                                Thank you.

Have you seen this product installed over tile? I've noticed that in another entryway in our house where this has been installed over tile, over time you can see the outline of the tile "shadowing" through. It isn't obvious, and it requires a certain light to see it, but it is there. Do you recommend an underlay of some kind to minimize the "bleed through" of the underlying tile shape?

Vinyl should not be used on stairs unless they are specifically designed for that use like anti-slip treads.
