Kitchen and living room flooring. It is very attractive but found that a unnoticed water spot lifted the top layer. MUST be very careful about spills.

Great floor. Brightens room to the max. Didn't have a single chip while installing which is in heard of. Seems very durable compared to other 12mm floors. Highly recommend product especially for the price.

I really like the subtle grooves in the texture. This helps my dogs get some traction when they walk or run across it. I purchased the best padding possible and was pleased to experience warmth and a slight "give" that make the flooring more comfortable. I honestly couldn't be happier. My husband says to add " read the installation instructions carefully, both for laminate and for pad." We love it.
We couldn't be more pleased with the look of our new laminate. We especially like the feel on our bare feet, it is not slippery or too glossy.

We bought 750+ square feet of this flooring for our dining & living areas and hallways. The color is great and it really improves the look of our house, especially compared to the disgusting carpet we had before. However, while installing it, we found several planks that were chipped and several had defects with the locking mechanisms to where the boards had gaps or didn't lock securely despite scraping out any excess saw dust. Fortunately we were able to use most of these pieces as scrap pieces. It was just annoying having to take a whole row of flooring out in order to remove the one plank that was bad. Also when inspecting several of the planks, about 1/2 of them were cut wrong - it was almost as if the machine that cut them was not calibrated correctly as the lip on the top side of the board was slightly taller on one end than the other. When we compared these boards to a correctly cut board, the design on top didn't align. Meaning, the three "pieces of wood" that are on each plank didn't align with the adjacent board (see attached picture). Therefore, we don't have any straight lines in the flooring except at the seams. There was no way I was going to pack up the flooring to take it back. I guess when you're on a budget and can only afford inexpensive flooring, you get what you pay for.

Would not buy this again. Too many broken boards in each box.

Used it in a long entry room from front door to back door between house and connected garage. Lots of foot traffic. Replaced worn rug. Lightened the room, expect it to wear well. Made the room seem bigger and brighter. Wish we had done it years earlier.

We used this product in our contempory style condo. We LOVE it. It has the right look and everyone who has seen it can't beleive it's not wood. We love the shinny finish...it always looks so clean.
We used the more expensive quiet underlay but feel it's worth it. It really does make a big difference.....very quiet. EZ to install and have almost no waste. Highly recommend.
CHAD at the Peoria, AZ store is so helpful. The first product we ordered didn't work and he was able to replace it with this product which we love and is so much more easy to install. THANKS CHAD............

Q:
I just purchased 800+ Sq ft of the Kings Forest Laminate for a very large open space. It's a living room and dining room 14.5' x 28.5' but it extends another 17 feet down the hall. How can I make this install a clean look without t-strips at 25 feet and meet the installation requirements?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You may get away with 28.5' (manufacturer recommends expansion break after 27') but an expansion break is absolutely necessary for anything over that.Q:

How do you clean and maintain this flooring?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.Q:
I just bought this maple laminate on sale. It does not have the padding, since I don't need sound mitigation and my sub-flooring is stable and level plywood on top of solid floor beams.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Floating flooring with no padding attached requires at least inexpensive Foam Underlayment to perform properly. So much so that warranty would void if it is not used. See - www.lumberliquidators.com/assets/images/installation/st_james.pdfQ:
looking for the complete dimension of the individual "planks" in the laminate, I am not talking about the laminate section as a whole but rather want to know if this looks like the modern wider plank wood floors or the narrower looking planks. I already have living room and kitchen in 2 1/2" width wood floor, this is for the bedroom coming off the kitchen, want it to look similar to fit in best.1 answer
