Laminates install easy on straight runs. Doorways can be a hassle if you are particular and want a tucked look. The better quality laminates makes persuading the pieces into place while not damaging them easier because of their thicker locking mechanism and superior top surface. With controlled tapping and nudging this product held up well.
The laminate color was perfect for our home. We were worried that the floor would end up looking too dark and would make our living space look small and closed in, but it turned out to be PERFECT. I love our new floor.

Overall, this product is acceptable and looks good installed. Definately a bit of a learning curve involved. Second room installation went quicker than the first. It would definately be great to have an assistant who knows how to use the saw too. Otherwise you'll make a hundred trips to the garage to cut the boards.
We felt the quality control for this product was lacking a little bit.
Installed in LR & DR. Stunning!
Even though product had attached foam backing, I would recomend using more sound proofing under it.

It's not hardwood, but looks nice and it is good if you have dogs, though its hard to keep it from looking smudged and dirty.

Installed 300 square feet in basement bedroom. No broken boards in 21 boxes and only 1 board broke during install. Great product! Plan on using in the rest of the house soon.

For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.Q:

The locking systems on these two products are not compatable as they come from two different mills. You will need to use a T-molding where these two floors meet.Q:
