This is a soft product, so I would not recommend using it in areas that get a lot of abuse.

I installed this in my hair salon about 7 years ago. We added 3 coats of water based poly for extra protection. It has been wonderful, and my clients still comment on it after all these years. It never looks dirty, and it is so smooth that it sweeps up beautifully. I am seriously considering doing my greatroom and hallway in cork also.

I first used this product in 2006, to cover a bedroom, a bathroom and the laundry room floors. I loved its beauty, feel and durability so much that, 7 years later, when I renovated the kitchen and den, it was my first choice in flooring. The rest of my house has original hardwood flooring and the two products complement each other beautifully.

My father and brother have put in laminate floors before but had difficulty with this one. They felt the locking system was not a sturdy as others they have used. If you don't have a lot of experience you may just want to hire a pro to begin with.

Take your time on the first 3 rows and don't give up. It gets a lot easier.

This is flooring. I use it on the floor. I walk on it. It was a little expensive, but nicer than the flooring in the room next door.

Replaced old cracked tile in a kitchen. Lots of remarks on the beauty and feel of this floor. Handles spills well, wipes up easily. Love this floor though we did have to exercise caution not to dent the floor when installing new appliances. With a 25 year warranty, I'm looking forward to growing old with this lovely flooring!
This is the third cork floor I've bought from lumber liquidators and I've generally been happy with it. This time, one of the packages was damaged, and the flooring in that package had crushed edges. The lorton, va store refused to discount the damaged flooring but only said I could refuse that box and wait for a new box to arrive as a special order. This would have delayed my project by two weeks. Not cool.
We are going on 4th year now with this floor. Has held up great. We clean with Murphy's oil soap using a damp warm cloth. It will show signs of rubber shoe scuffs in certain angles. Hides dirt like no other floor. We have had parties with 40 plus in the house, sound insulative properties are great. Still has original factory finish. Will add a extra coat of finish next year.

We found it difficult to click planks together on both edges. We ended up cutting part of the tab on the short side so we could then click in the long side and slide the short side in. This stuff is much more difficult to work with than the Morningstar bamboo that we laid in a different room.

How clean & maintain Medina cork flooring?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk.Q:
