After opening 5 boxes we thought there were only 2 designs but the 6th box contained two other designs and it turns out there are actually 5 patterns, which you may or may not get in your box of 5 planks. The plank designs don't go well together - i.e. the resulting floor looks like a patchwork quilt if you don't put serious time into trying to organize your unevenly distributed variety of plank patterns. We followed all the directions to the letter and the planks are fragile. Ours were professionally installed and before he had finished, edges and corners were chipping off - the planks were so hard to get to click together and sensitive to any hammering (with the proper laminate block and mallet). We bought this laminate on sale thinking we were getting a great deal but it's turned out to be an expensive lesson in - you get what you pay for.
how to use was somewhat unclear, material difficult to lock together. end seams have gap
The installer stated he would not have chosen these flooring..Imagine how i felt..States they scratch easily..recommended i instruct the tenants to avoid scratching the floors.
I purchased this product because of the look and price but after installing the 1st of the 3 rooms, i wish i would have spent more money because it was difficult to install, cheap cardboard type material and the short lengths of the tongue and groove. I've laid over 50 floors and this was the worst. Looks fare but too soon to tell durability.

how do you clean laminate flooring1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.Q:
Can a Swiffer Wet Jet be used on the Murray Forrest Oak 8mm? Also, where do I find the warranty in detail? Thanks!1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Lumber Liquidators does not recommend "Water brooms" "Wet-Jet Swiffers or steamer type cleaners on laminates, corks or hardwood floors. Although steamers may work well cleaning OTHER types of hard surface flooring, the 130° to 240° heated steam vapor can ruin wood or urethane finish resulting in warped or cupped flooring. Water and wood do not mix well, especially steam. Use these products at your own risk.Q:

Hi - We want to install laminate flooring like Pergo. We're not locked in to that brand, but it has to be something that is of the "snap & lock" design. My Question: I want to install the same flooring on two sets of stairs. My stairs are solid, so I want to install to the tread and riser surfaces. The tread is a 1 inch boarding, rounded off as a bull-nose. I've seen a stair nose product on the Pergo (European) website that conforms to an existing bull nose ... although I would have to square off the inside edge of my bull nose to have it conform better. One end of this product is of the snap & lock design, so the Pergo laminate flooring would snap & lock right into the end, for a smooth transition. I could not find anything like it in any Pergo website for North America, so do you have a brand that has something like this for stairs?1 answer
A:
Unfortunately we do not have this type of laminate nosing with our products.Q:
I need a ball park figure for installation (including the recommended underlayment) for the Murray Forest Oak Laminate flooring. I will need to hire this service.1 answer

Does it scratch easily? And if it does how can I prevent scratches, I have two dogs?1 answer
A:
This material is scratch resistant but not scratch proof, the best option to prevent scratches from the dogs would be to keep the nails trimmed and filed
