The color is very versatile and I love the wide boards.I did find a scratch right away tho. Helps with sound barrier as long as you get the highter MM.

I used the Nantucket reducer to transition between tile floor and laminate. It was very easy to install, looks great and adds a nice bridge between 2 different surfaces.

How is this attached? I am trying to use as a threshold onto carpet from laminate floor.

            A:

I would recommend using an end cap for this application.
Reducers are designed to reduce down to a lower height; such as vinyl or an unfinished area.
Where do I find installation instructions / product warranty information?
Lumber Liquidators posts installation instructions on our website through the Customer Care and Flooring 101 web pages for easy installation, including helpful hints.
Type in 'transitions for floating floors' for a visual.

I only have betwen 3/16"-1/4 difference between the new flooring and ceramic tile. Do I need this reducer or a T piece for this application?

The T-molding will work for this transition application.

        • Q:

Your sales rep sold me "end cap" instead of "reducer" with my Nantucket Beech flooring. I am transitioning to cut-loop carpet with 1/2 inch pad under it.
The problem is the "end cap" does not rest on the subfloor at one edge or the edge of the laminate flooring at the other edge.
Did I get sold the wrong product for my application?
