We Redefined Quality, Again. We set the quality standard by introducing a groundbreaking finish so tough it allowed us to offer one of the first 50 year warranties. Others followed. So, we raised the bar again. Now Bellawood is backed by a Certified 100 Year Transferable Warranty that covers you and generations to come. American Walnut is one of the most prized of all North American woods and is renowned for its durability. In fact, it?s one of the most durable domestic species available. Its stunning chocolate browns fill any room with rich color. And while the grain is mostly straight, it also exhibits a striking wavy grain that attracts discerning floor buyers the world over. It Taber Tested "the Best." When subjected to the industry sandpaper abrasion test, known as Taber Testing, Bellawood's durability results were more than double most comparably priced floors. There's good, there's better?and then there's Bellawood. |

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural American Walnut:
This is about the 10th Lumber Liquidators floor I have installed recently and it is the best one by far. The quality of the wood and the finish is top notch and 5" planks speed up the job time. I had very little waste from over 700 sq. ft installed, less than 5% Nice job lumber liquidators!!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural American Walnut:
Although the finish is beautiful, it is very brittle and will chip if bumped with a tool!
Be very carful when installing! Didn't have a bad board in 240 sq.ft. and is very easy to install! We will be installing this in the Livingroom & hallway next!

Can this flooring be installed over a concrete slab? If not, can the engineered walnut be used.....will it perform and look just as great. How would this be installed over a slab? What is needed under either the engineered or the natural walnut to ensure best results and protection.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This can be installed over concrete if you use Elastilon as your installation system. Elastilon Self Adhesive Underlayment is a good option for any flat subfloor. You can use up to 3/4" thick or thinner solid or tongue and groove engineered flooring (works best with 1/2" or thicker). Floating with Elastilon needs to have an expansion break for spans over 33' on it's width, but not length.Q:
cab this floor be installed over radiant floor heating systems?1 answer
A:
Bellawood solid flooring should not be installed over radiant heat systems.Q:
Would this floor hold up to 3 dogs - labs1 answer

please let me know the length, thanks1 answer
A:
Sorry, the lengths of these boards cannot be ordered specifically all our Bellawood product will come in random lengths that will range from 18" - 74"Q:
Would you recommend putting this in a lake house. We will have AC and keep heat on 60 during winter months? We were told engineered would be better for a lake house because of moisture.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Besides humidity you might be okay. Wood flooring is a dynamic material subject to changes in dimension as a result of changes in humidity in the surrounding environment. It is recommended that the rooms that will have wood installed be climate controlled with temperatures of 50 to 80 degrees F., preferably 65 to 75 degrees F. humidity of 35% to 55% maintained. In addition, the rooms should not be closed off from a normal air flow. Engineered may perform better however their recommended conditions are basically the same.Q:
what is the janka reading?1 answer
