This was the first time we have layed this Hardwood flooring, this is our 4th house and we fell in love with the Hickory flooring, my in-laws had this in their home and they love it as well. My husband and 1 other person layed this flooring in 2 days (480 sq ft). It is absolutely beautiful.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 4" Natural Hickory:
Used in living room , adjoining dining room. Hickory is amazing looking. Seems very durable, but a 100 lb dog running across it will scratch it. Which was not a surprise, but it did not appear to dent which was nice. Was moderate to install. Very good quality but some boards did have a milling issue with the width. Just be careful and check for this. Many different colors so watch out for too much white or dark groupings. Overall we are thrilled with the floor and are happy with our purchase.

Just make sure your saw blade is new and sharp so you get good cuts. I declined buying the pre-finished trim pieces and made my own from red oak
that I stained to "sorta" match. Your trim is beautiful but kinda pricey.

Q:
We purchased this product and are in the process of installing it. We are experiencing issues with the mill width of the boards. They are not consistent and create issues in laying the floor. Although the difference in widths is minor (1/32 to 1/64") we cannot lay a straight line without gaps showing. This issue is consistent in every box we've opened. Are we being to picky?1 answer
