we bought this to closely resemble our downstairs red oak flooring that was unfinished and poly'd only. pretty close match, this is a bit paler in color, but since it was installed upstairs, it's unnoticeable and looks great!

  Radiant Heat
  Solid flooring should not be installed over radiant in-floor heat systems due to finish and stability issues.
  Even solid species with better dimensional stability characteristics cannot predictably be guaranteed to perform over radiant heat floors.
  Most of our products are plane sawn which results in dimensional change in the width direction
  However, all our floating floors (not attached to the subfloor) as they are most recommended for this application.
