Give your floors a REAL WOOD look and feel with St. James Collection!

St. James Collection by Dream Home - 12mm Oceanside Plank Bamboo High Gloss Laminate Flooring- 30 Year Warranty

With a variety of 12mm V groove laminate options with an additional 3mm of pre-glued underlayment, from a high gloss to a warm low gloss finish, and with deep, warm to medium hues, this spectacular flooring make a stunning floor!
St. James offers a regal alternative. The V groove makes it a snap to install and the random lengths give your floors a real wood look and feel.
At 12mm, the St. James Collection is very durable and comes with a 30 year warranty!

Quick Installation Tips:
- Store flooring flat for 48 hours in its original packaging at room temperature.
- Must be installed over a clean, stable, flat, smooth, and dry surface.
- Moisture barrier is recommended for installations over concrete.
- Make sure the panels are mixed sufficiently when you install them so that you do not end up with too many identical, light or dark panels next to each other.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ADDITIONAL PADDING:
Laminates having pre-attached padding can also be installed over an underlayment. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of our Bellawood Premium underlayment or ECO Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments will best support the joints while ensuring superior thermal sound reduction qualities and are highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.

St. James Collection's Advantages:
- No glue and no nails needed
- Easy Click Installation
- Moisture resistant board
- Thickness: 12mm + 3mm (1/8") pre-glued underlayment
- AC Rating: 3

After 2 years of indecision on what floor would be best for my beach house, I decided to go with this laminate click floor, after reading that it was very durable for kids, dogs, sand, water, high traffic, and varying temperatures.
It looks so flawless, was installed in 5 hours, and i LOVE IT!

Used this for entire downstairs (750 sq ft)...love the fact it's uncommon and creative. The width of the planks are 3 in which we preferred for a more natural look and the depth is 12mm which is the thickest and most durable available. Reactions from the peanut gallery have all been amazing...installed myself with help of father-in-law who is a contractor. Adds light to the downstairs since it's a light shade which we wanted yet it's not glossy so it doesn't show every foot or paw print. Wood is called "Oceanside Plank" but we put it in our house in suburbia...love it. So far nothing to complain about.

We put the flooring in my walk in closet to see how we liked it. We love it so we are going to do the bedroom. It is hard to find any flooring this color and it matched the tile we have in the hall.

                                  A:

No additional Underlayment is necessary for padding attached laminate flooring.

                                  A:

I have a Bellawood floor that holds up extremely well to our Hound Mix, Pit-Boxer, and another young mutt and a cat. Not to mention nieces, nephews, and work shoes. Excellent finish. It's not scratch free but no wood floor could be with these dogs. Harder floors like hickory (41% harder than Red Oak) or exotic floors will dent less easily. 3/4" hardwood can also be refinished several times. Light colors will hide potential scratches. Remember nothing is scratch proof but some do better than others.

Our higher warranty Laminate flooring holds up very well to dog nails and wear but cannot be refinished. Advantage is it's less expensive both for product and labor. Higher Warranty the better.

Our Schon engineered flooring has 7 coats of Treffert or Klumpp (made in Germany) highly resistant polyurethane finish with aluminum oxide anti-scratch and a 55% gloss. Being a natural material it may dent easier than laminate but it's real wood. Engineered can be refinished carefully once or twice.

For Bamboo our Morning Star brand has a similar finish that Schon and Bellawood has and offers the hardest type of bamboo floor produced, "Strand Bamboo". It can be refinished too but only by professionals with bamboo experience as it's a grass product and more difficult than hardwood. Stranded would be my only choice if going with bamboo.

Resilient Vinyl flooring is a very tough floor and the most resistant against damp areas.

Regardless of the floor you choose, keeping nails trimmed is a good idea. Another idea is to cover nails with vinyl claw covers.

Proper care always helps. For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often. Dog accidents, when cleaned up quick isn't an issue but if left to dry it can burn finish.

The adhesive that is used in bonding our Bamboo, Cork, Engineered, and Laminate flooring products contain very low amounts of Urea Formaldehyde. We feel that our products are very safe and most meet California CARB Phase I or California Phase II regulations, which is listed on the boxes. We also list MSDS sheets for most of these products on the Lumber Liquidators website “Flooring 101”.

In half baths yes when it is protected by a throw rug by sink. Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application. I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. Thank you for your inquiry.

I am researching purchasing flooring for my masterbed room and my office. I am looking at Bamboo however!!!!!!!!!!!! I have dogs and want to make sure what ever I decide upon is going to last. Dogs do have accidents from time to time. Will the bamboo hold up if they pee pee on the flooring? If they do will it go through the cracks of the flooring and develop a smell? I want to know all the pros and cons before purchasing any type of flooring. Your assistance and recommendations is greatly appreciated.
AND THE OPTION OF GETTING RID OF MY DOGS IS OUT OF THE QUESTION...lol
                                Thanks,
                                Kathy

Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage any floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.
I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern.
                                  Thank you for your inquiry.
