Product itself is apparently very good.
Wearing will tell, it's Australian Cypress.
50 years guarantee on the finish seems

My husband and my 72 year old mother installed this floor in our Montana log cabin. A floor nailer and tapping block was all they needed to install the Australian Cyprus. Mitered corners around the stair well were a little tricky, but otherwise it was very simple. The finish and feel are unbeatable!

Replacement of old flooring in small hallway area. It is now the nicest part of the hallway, now I have to fix up everything else, repaint, doors, etc... First time putting down hardwood floor (T&G), actually it came out pretty good. I cracked my first board but that was it. If that was my learning curve it was well worth it. Great Product!

                    A:

Moving heavy furniture over a hardwood floor can cause scratches. A good preventive measure is to use felt pads under the furniture to avoid unwanted scratches. Use floor protectors under desks and wide-load bearing rollers to minimize indentations and scratches from heavy objects such as office desk chairs. As a rule, the heavier the object, the wider the floor protector. Feel free to contact our product specialists at 800-476-0007 with any additional questions or to further discuss your project. Thank you for your inquiry.

is the finish a HIGH GLOSS or can a high gloss urathane be applid over the existing finish?

                    A:

Our Bellawood floors are factory pre-finished with an aluminum oxide water-base urethane using a multi-step application process. (8) coats are applied to most domestic and exotic wood species and each coat is hard-cured using Ultraviolet (UV) light. Bellawood pre-finished flooring has a 55% gloss level (semi-gloss).
You could reseal prefinished flooring after it is installed, but this would void the finish warranty on the flooring and create extra expense for you after already buying a new floor with a 100 yr finish warranty. Adding a new finish won’t prevent all moisture from going into the seams. Wood will expand and contract with climate changes. If the flooring were to contract later and create seasonal gapping, a spill can cause water to get into the gaps. It is best to only add a new finish when the old finish starts to wear more than you like or if you have a lot of scratches you want covered up. We recommend that you use a professional sand and finish expert if you did decide to add a new finish to the flooring. Thank you for your inquiry.

                    A:

Yes, rotating on occasion is wise for even UV lightning effect on the flooring. When using area rugs, use a rug pad with a felt, plant or PVC based backing. DO NOT use area rugs with a petroleum based rubber backing (typically black) as this can cause permanent chemical staining/etching of the floor finish.
