The reducer is quite a bit lighter in color than the flooring. It tone mirrors a pine board. The idea was to make have smooth transitions, however, the contrast in colors is very evident.

This is a great product for transition to linoleum or any other lower surface than the hardwood will be. It also is made of the same material as the flooring so it gives the transition a tight matched professional look.

Decent Bamboo product, but the color matching to the Carbonized Strand is not close (too light). The product is made for tongue-n-groove installation, doesn't mate well with a non-perfect saw cut edge.
