NIRVANA by Dream Home- 8mm Royal Mahogany Laminate Flooring- 25 Year Warranty

Dream Home's Nirvana line of laminate floors will fill your home with harmonious style.
This product has it all: an 8mm moisture-resistant core PLUS a 3mm pre-glued sound-proofing foam underlay, the feel of real wood grain and a 25 year warranty.

Quick Installation Tips:
- Designed for glue-less laying, and must be laid as a "floating floor".
- Subfloor must be clean, flat, smooth, and level.
- Moisture barrier is required for installations over concrete.
- Make sure the panels are mixed sufficiently when you install them so that you do not end up with too many identical, light or dark panels next to each other.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ADDITIONAL PADDING:
Laminates having pre-attached padding can be installed over an underlayment. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of our Bellawood Premium underlayment or ECO Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments will best support the joints while ensuring superior thermal sound reduction qualities and are highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.

NIRVANA Flooring Advantages:
- Real wood grain
- No glue and no nails needed
- Easy Click Installation
- Moisture resistant board
- Thickness: 8mm + 3mm pre-glued underlayment
- AC Rating: 3
- 25 Year Warranty

snap together flooring

By Jim Bearce

from Minford ohio

the tough snap is a terrible design, that brakes off as you try to hook the end and front together.
tough an groove would work much better. The paper that the backing is made of will not with stand snapping the flooring together. Had I not bough 1200 sq I would discard this flooring.

Great product. I hired it to be put down and the gentleman that laid the floor said it was a very easy floor to lay. He did 2 bedrooms and a hallways for me with some intricut cuts. I am going to try to lay the livingroom and diningroom floor myself. Wish me luck!!

I have four kids, one inside cat and a great dane. We put this floor in our living room about three months ago and it's held up to spills, dog claws(she is huge and runs through here), big toys being dropped, a cat knocking a drill off a tall table. Nothing has damaged it!
We've purchased more to start on the next room.

Once I got the hang of this, install was a breeze! I recommend connecting an entire row and then connecting it to the previous row. I had trouble installing one piece at a time, but once I installed full rows at a time it worked very well.

I have installed about 5,000 square feet of laminate over the past 5 years in 5 different houses, so I know what I am doing. This was the most difficult stuff to install ever though. I installed 620 square feet of this stuff and about 75% of it was warped. The tongue and groove looked like a squiggle if you looked down the spine. This made for a lot of manipulation and struggle to put them together. Some others in the reviews mentioned this but I didn't think I would get a bad batch...I did. Beware.

Wax filler sticks, stain markers and color-putty are now available at your local Lumber Liquidators and at most home centers that are used for minor hardwood repairs. This process is used to fill-in face-nails, nicks and gouges. Select the appropriate stick color to match the damaged area. Often several colors are used to blend colors for exotic species, bring a scrap piece of the flooring to match it up. Thank you for your inquiry.

Yes, laminates are acceptable for installation in a powder room. It is recommend to put a throw rug by the sink because an excess water can damage wood. You will need to wipe up any water that sit on the floor as soon as possible. However a full bathroom that is showered in everyday may not be the best location for laminates. Often there is too much water on the floor or humidity that can be absorbed into the flooring resulting in board edge cupping. Resilient and Tile floors are a better choice for these areas. Thank you for your inquiry

Yes if the flooring locking system has not changed than you can install it to the existing floor. But if you exceed more than 27 ft. in either direction you will need an expansion break using a T-molding. If the locking system changed you can put a T-molding to seperate the two floors.
