Why is this Select Brazilian Cherry only 82% harder than Red Oak vs other Brazilian Cherry"s like the Bellawood 123% harder than Red Oak. Aren't all Brazilian Cherry's the same in terms of hardness?

  Brazilian Cherry and many other hardwood floors can have a mix of lighter or darker boards. These are either mixed throughout the entire installation or "culled back" and utilized in closets or less noticed areas.
