We Redefined Quality, Again. We set the quality standard by introducing a groundbreaking finish so tough it allowed us to offer one of the first 50 year warranties. Others followed. So, we raised the bar again. Now Bellawood is backed by a Certified 100 Year Transferable Warranty that covers you and generations to come. An extremely popular flooring choice in American homes, White Oak is characterized by its gorgeous light brown coloring, with slight pink and gray tints cast across some boards. Not to be outdone, its open grain is absolutely captivating, with long rays and the occasional swirl and burl. Put simply, it?s flooring that quietly demands attention coupled with the unmistakable beauty of oak. Crafted Meticulously. Harvested Responsibly. We understand the importance of healthy forests. That's why we only buy from suppliers who practice responsible harvesting and carefully manage their cutting with replanting strategies in place. For us, it's not just about being responsible citizens. It's about being a responsible business too.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" White Oak:
This floor is a real contradiction in that it's beautiful, classic looking, but scratches pretty easily. We were hoping for a combination of beautiful and durable, but didn't quite get that. The variations in the pieces are really nice and give the house a warm look. I would recommend it.
Service and delivery comments:
On our delivery, the floor vents and stair noses were left out. However, they were delivered 2 days after I'd notified Lumber Liquidators. Also, I liked the fact that the unused boxes of floor could be returned with no hassle. There's one caveat to this, there's a 20% restocking fee!!!!! I repeat 20%.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" White Oak:
We compared similar products at the big box stores and found slightly better prices there, but the products were less uniform in coloring and grain and came with shorter warranties. Bellawood looks better and went down easily (I hired a contractor). I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" White Oak:
I didn't comment on the durability because we have just had it installed. We love the look. We had it installed in our kitchen. Our installed recommended that we purchase from Lumber Liquidators because he had installed it before and his clients have all been very satisfied. Also he likes installing it. Good quality, color. We installed the White Oak, Select. We are happy with it because there is some variation in the wood .. but not as wide-ranging as the natural white oak. We wanted a bit of variation.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" White Oak:
Excellent product for the money. This is my 3rd install using the Select grade.
My ONLY complaint is the higher amount of damaged/imperfect planks from this batch.
I bought 20% excess thinking I'd be able to return 1 unopened box. As a result of the bad wood, I had no unopened box to return. All in all, it's still OK given the very fair price. I've done much reserch on hardwood available through big box stores. They sell a greatly inferior product for almost 2x as much.

We used in a 1000 sq ft studio. We are still finishing it up so can't comment yet on durability but so far so good. Great variety of lengths, the T & G goes together smoothly. We've had no problems and are very pleasantly surprised.

Q:
What type of finish does it have? Glossy, semi-gloss or satin. I am looking for a satin finish.1 answer
A:
Our Bellawood floors are factory pre-finished with an aluminum oxide water-base urethane using a multi-step application process. (8) coats are applied to most domestic and exotic wood species and each coat is hard-cured using Ultraviolet (UV) light. Bellawood pre-finished flooring offers superior wear resistance and is backed by a limited 100-year warranty! (The exact formula is propietary information) The formula for the Bellawood finish is a custom mix that has a 50/50 gloss. The sheen you get is shinier than satin, but not as shiny as semi -gloss.Q:
Can I put it over a ground-level concrete pad? Any special procedure?1 answer
A:
This is a solid 3/4" product designed to be nailed to a wood substrate.Q:
Can this product be sanded and refinished later? Have termite damage to joists and subflooring and my 20 year old oak flooring needs to be replaced. Pre-finished wood flooring was not on my radar back then! Pre-finished is what my contractor wants to use. I have huskies and they do play havoc with the floor!1 answer
A:
Yes it can.Q:
are the edges and ends beveled or can it be had with square edges and ends?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
All prefinished solid hardwood flooring has a micro-bevel. For a flat floor without bevels an unfinished floor sanded and finished on site would be necessary.
