I love the flooring, just over time it seems to lost its shine. Have tried several different products and nothing seems to work.

We installed this on an upstairs floor. Removed some of the original product done years ago. The floor will show signs of cupping if the home has poor insulation beneath the floor. Otherwise this product is good.

Great color. It makes the room look nice and much warmer, welcoming:).
It was a bit on the expensive side where I spent a bit over $1k for each room in wood only and paid installation on top of that. However, for the quality, it seems like the end result was worth it overall.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Spice Oak:
Previously I installed golden oak and found that the wood was of good quality. Surprisingly that was not the case with the Spice Oak here. I found the scrap pile under my chop saw was a lot higher than the past as I cobbled together what I could with what I had. The number of boards that were outright scrap was also very high. I must have had about 20-30% scrap from this product. Previously with golden oak my scrap was closer to 5%. You have to examine every board carefully and some still gets by. I did see some boards that the width varied (Always after nailing them down) and had to take 10 minutes to 'surgically' remove them. Lots of extra work and another trip to LL for more wood (no choice at this point). I mentioned all of this to the store clerk who didn't seem too bothered by it. Not saying that I am running for the hills to never shop at LL again... just wanted to add my issues to the review pages.

Installed floor in a Master Bedroom. It came out well, but required an extra trip to Lumber Liquidators to get an extra box of wood. Many split boards, chipped finish, and warped boards.
Professionally installed, a DIYer would have had a huge problem with this material. If you use this product figure at least a 20% waste factor.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Spice Oak:
It is great for the price. The finish on some boards is spotty. Some boards are chipped. There were small white marks on some of the boards that appeared to be from when the boxes of wood were stacked on the skid at the Warehouse. It is not a top grade product, but it does look good. We paid [$] a square foot. Watch the price because they raise and lower it often. Do not cut all the plastic strapping of every box of wood. Lumber Liquidators will not take them back without the strapping on the boxes.
