This floor looks great once it was installed. The down side I attempted to install the way the manufacturer reccomends, that did not work well. I tried my own way which worked great. The biggest complaint is the amount of pieces that are damaged, I was able to use them in the closets and on ending or starting rows.

We used this laminate in our master bedroom and love the way it looks. It is a very natural looking laminate, which is exactly what we wanted. It cleans well (as we are still finishing our renovation). My only real draw back is that many of the boards had dings on the sides. It's not very visible while walking on it, but if you are close it is very noticable that some of the edges were damaged in the manufacturing or assembl of the product. Not a big deal, as it was a good value but I expected great quality and a great price.
Overall, I am happy with our decision to go with this laminate. I will not be using it for the rest of the house though.

We installed this beautiful flooring in our living room, hallway and kitchen. The floor was fairly easy to install once we got the hang of it, and the final product is better than we could have imagined. Our house has a whole new look to it! With three kids and two dogs, we stay busy. Although it has only been a few weeks, the floor is holding up perfectly. Yes, we do have to run a dust mop over it ever day, but it takes literally minutes, and is easier than I could have imagined. I am so glad we chose this flooring and am looking forward to our next flooring replacement project already!

Easy to put down. Joints are very tight. The look of hand planing is very realistic. I put down about 500 sq ft and the color and look makes my wife very happy.

I had to buy wax crayons to fill in small chips that occurred during assembly. Other than that, it looks nice. The transitions strips finish it off perfectly. I hope that it hold up for years to come.

Was easy to install. We did an 11x23 room in 5 hours, with 2 people. There were a few pieces that had nicks in them, but maybe 4 pieces out of 12 boxes, so I am not upset about it. Hoping the quality holds up for MANY years to come.

I wanted wood but too expensive. With laminate, I was intent on getting something that felt solid and substantial and also looked realistic. This turned out to be an easy winner. Very good price when compared others. I wish I had done this five years ago.
We installed ourselves and it went better than expected.
Put this throughout my whole house and the installation was fairly easy. It seems to be durable and shines up nicely!
Put this flooring down in living and kitchen. Easy to install and looks great.

Q:
I will be installing Kensington Manor Summer Retreat Teak. The house is on a crawl space. Access to the crawl is via a removeable 2'X2'section of subfloor in my "under the stairs" closet. How do you recommend I secure the flooring to this removeable section of subfloor. Gluing does not seem appropriate. Can I pre-drill and use screws? Please advise. Thanks!1 answer

I love this floor and want to install it in a sunroom that does not have heat or air conditioning. The sunroom is on the second story and built over an open patio area below. While it will get a lot of sun even in the winter, it could get as cold as below freezing, and in the summer temperatures in the upper 70's to 80's. What do you recommend?1 answer
A:
laminate will contract and expand less that a solid but the strand bamboo material is actually the most stable flooring we retail, just keep in mind that if you install any type of flooring in a room that is not climate controlled you will void any warranty that comes with that flooringQ:

You can install this laminate in a kitchen, it is a a 12MM which is the thickest best laminate that we retail and would work well for you in a high traffic area like the kitchenQ:
why can,t you use laminate flooring in modular home.?1 answer

I don't know of any reason that you couldn't use it for this application (I installed over 800 sq ft in my modular cape up in Maine with no issues).
