This is the second project using this particular flooring. Both installed and look great! I am not a fan of prefinished floors with microbevels. When I saw this one with the bevels only on the ends, along with the finish, I was sold.

Overall, I found this wood to be a quality product. Has a nice vintage look. Not too many defects. The only drawback is the piece length, which was about 3.5ft on average, however this is to be expected with a product at this price point. It will take a while to get installed, but will look incredible when you are finished!

This vintage handscrapped flooring matches perfect to older floors in our home that are also red oak. Boards themselves are true and fit well together. A few had a bit of character with cracks dried all the way through the backside: those we put in the closets. We ordered the recommended 31 boxes for our three bedrooms and had FIVE (5) whole boxes left over. If you want perfectly smooth, no-character looking floors, get laminate. If you want the real thing and lots of ohhs and awws, this is it!
a few months ago we added this to our family room and I love it. The handscrape is exactly what is advertised ,there was little waist. This is a vintage look and that is what we were looking for without looking too rustic. It had the right blend of color and age to blend wonderfully in my home. If you are looking for a clear not vintage look this isn't for you. But this is oak , oak has lots of grain. The hand scrap is great, especially with fido.

The sample was in much better condition than the typical piece in the box. Some pieces are splintering, and catch the swiffer or your sock when you walk on it. The photos look better than the real thing. Not sure how much service I will get from the warranty now that it is installed. If I had to do it over, would pick something else.
