Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 5" Walnut Hickory:
This is the 3rd wood floor we have put in ourselves. The first two were cheap [@]. This time we spent a little more the put in 5 inch hickory. It wasn't really hard to install but though we found very few boards that were warped, damaged or marred (we found lots in the home depot stuff). We did find after nailing it down unfortunately that the widths were not consistent. They ran from 5 inches to 4 3/4 inches. That meant that before we realized it and started measuring widths we didn't figure it out until we had it nailed down and was doing the next row. So now there is a 1/4 or 1/8 inch gap everywhere that happened. After the first 4 boxes and we figured out it was more than just an occasional occurrence I started measuring them and putting them in piles. It is okay to have 4 1/2 inches all in one row then you can butt the next row against them. You don't want it in the middle of the row. Other than that it is beautiful and went down pretty easy.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 5" Walnut Hickory:
Our first venture into hardwood flooring and we put around 700 sq ft in a cabin we built in the woods. Love the look of the wide plank and it contrasts nicely with our hickory kitchen cabinets. Had very little waste so returning several boxes. Some boards were missing part of the tongues and we got only two boards with out of square ends. Some had stain that leaned towards dark red but most were pretty good. Due to the multiple lengths, we only had to cut four or five boards in about 48 rows, which kept our waste down. Have received many compliments on the appearance but only time will tell how well the finish holds up. Bottom line is we have the confidence now to replace carpeting in our main home once we rest up a bit!

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 5" Walnut Hickory:
This wood is just beautiful! We installed it in a big area our living/dining room and bordered the room with 13" of the 3 1/4" koka oak and it looks amazing! The wood is high quality and durable! We have three children so we needed something to upstand to them. Would recommend this to anyone! I think it looks much darker in the pictures than what it acually is. I would say it is on a medium stain color,

I have had the product down since 10/10. Over the last year there is very little wear from my 55 pound dog runnig all over it. The dust does show on dark wood. You will need to constantly clean..... Great product.... I have one last room to do in my house - easy to install - I have never done anything like this before.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Hickory is has about the stability rating of red oak. Wood flooring is a dynamic material subject to changes in dimension as a result of changes in humidity in the surrounding environment. It is recommended that the rooms that will have wood installed be climate controlled with temperatures of 50 to 80 degrees F., preferably 65 to 75 degrees F. humidity of 35% to 55% maintained. When these standards are followed and you acclimate the flooring for up to 5 days, box ends open in room to be installed, there should be very minimal. Follow instructions found under "Specs".Q:
