Used for hardwood nail down floors. Great holding ability. So no cons. Costs was great also. It was on sale and very low.
As advertised.
I've had an eceptionally low rate of cleats that didn't set properly.

Q:
What guage floor cleats should be used in the Norge flooring nailer for hardwood floors?1 answer
A:
For our 2 in 1 norge nailer you can use 15-16 gauge cleats.Q:
Is the length of 2" long 15 gage floor cleats suitable for nailing down 3/4" thick hardwood floors?1 answer
A:
Yes for most solid flooring products. Our solid prefinished domestic and exotic products are normally installed using standard flooring nailers or staplers. While Professional installers may have their own personal preferences, both types work well. Professional installers understand how species variations can affect workability. Some species will tend to be very hard while others can be somewhat brittle during nailing. These are natural characteristics within species and not considered defects. To prevent board damage, installers will determine the best fastening method appropriate for the species such as cleats vs. staples or nailing vs. gluing. Not surprising, hand nailing or direct gluing may be needed for the harder species like walnut or teak.
