52 boxes from same group. Almost no quality issues. Able to use all. 5 more boxes to do rest of office and walk-in. Very good except for another store received one box with multiply scratched pieces.
When moving furniture(heavy) even on rugs/cardboard on new floors could see imprints in wood. Not real noticeable, but after time spent on beautiful floor, I did notice. Also have german shepherd, and nail marks here and there already visible. Especially where she chases the cat! Tried the scratch spray, and don't think it does anything. The floor cleaner and pads seem good investment. Put in the expensive underlayment pad. Think it is good investment also.
Used 2or 3 open boxes when laying out pattern, and worked well, mixing small and large pieces. 99% of boards straight, larger ones can be brought in line with the nailing process. Use 1-1/2 inch nails not 2 inch. Local store was out and bought 2 inch and they were not good idea. Returned when LL had resupply of 1-1/2inch.
Overall great experience, local store friendly, and well stocked.

High sunlight...watch out.
The original beautiful contrast has faded to mono-chromatic appearence within 2 years. Under the area rug (protected from light) it is a totally different floor appearence (unfaded)

This floor is totally beautiful! The variations in pattern and color are amazing and worked perfectly in our space. we LOVE LOVE LOVE the floor. That said, it's only been in a few days and there are already scratches. I am not sure if this is just THIS floor or the nature of hardwood. The finish is not coming off or anything, but there are scratches. I thought that with a lifetime warranty, then there would be less of that... but I guess if too many scratches show up and it starts peeling the finish, then I'll call LL and activate the warranty. So far, we think this is the best floor ever, even with little scratches.... it's just SOOOOOOOO beautiful! We LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

In remodeling our kitchen I always wanted hardwood floors. The rustic maple is beautiful and even though we are still in the remodel process we have received many compliments from visitors and professional contractors. The variations in the planks was perfect and just what I was hoping for. We took our time with the installation and couldn't be happier with the results.

This floor is beautiful - lots of nice variation in color makes it interesting to look at. We had it professionally installed by our own installer in our entire downstairs and we are very happy with it.

I bought this flooring to replace carpet in 3 bedrooms and the living room. It appears (I have 2 rooms done) that I overestimated the square footage and I may have enough to replace the laminate in the family room. I couldn't be happier. With a few basic tools and basic knowledge in the use of those tools anyone can install this flooring. This floor looks fantastic. The dealer recommends 5-10% wastage however I did not reject a single board and if you carefully measure your cuts, waste is more like <1%. I live in Alaska and the product arrived 3 weeks ahead of estimate. I am truly satisfied.

staff was very helpful--they opened a box so I could see it before purchase. We also ran into a small glitch and we needed a 4" maple board which the staff provided us with at no charge.

If the basement is climate controlled and the subfloor is dry, clean, and level you can install the BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Rustic Maple in a basement, but only if it is installed over the Elastilon underlayment. This being said Maple flooring does not have great dimensional stability so it will be affected more than other species of wood if you have climate changes. If you like the look of Maple flooring I would suggest you choose an engineered maple floor instead of a solid maple floor in a basement as the engineered product will perform better. We sell a Bellawood 1/2" x 5" engineered maple that can work great in a basement.
