Q:How thick is this pad and what is the density rating?
A:No reference to density since this pad is only for non-slip for area rugs and not for sound control under wood flooring. To be a non-slip foam, the material is better to be soft.
Q:Can this rug pad be cut to fit smaller size rug?
A:Yes this product can be cut. Thank you for your inquiry
Q:Are these rug pads made of all natural rubber?
Q:Was told last year from someone in your tech and installation department, not to use any synthetic or pvc rug pads. This person said synthetic reacts and leaves marks on the hardwood floors. This person said use only natural rubber (not petroleum based rubber) for rug pads, as petroleum, synthetic, pvc will discolor hardwood floors. Today when spoke to customer service was told the exact opposite. What is the correct answer? Only want answer from an expert in the field who has the experience with rugs pads on Bellawood Brazillian Cherry Hardwood Floors! Also is solid or waffle design rug pad better? Please answer both questions! Thank you.
A:I apologize for the misinformation.
A:No Slip Latex Area Rug Pad
Q:My furniture is being delivered next week and my local LL does not have a carpet pad in stock (estimated delivery is after September). When shopping for a rug pad, what should I look for to protect my new Brazilian cherry hardwood floors? I'm looking at one that has a felt surface on one side and solid rubber on the other. Or, should I look at the ones that has little holes? I think the company is Surya I also have access to WonderGrip. Thanks.
A:Any hardwood flooring safe carpet pad will work. Latex. PVC, or synthetic fiber types are generally good. Either of your mentioned products are good.
