    How many btu/hr/sqft does the mat produce?

      A:

      The film consumes and generates 12W per square foot. The amount of heat it gives off is dependent on the area of the film and the thermal conductivity of the flooring system above it. It would be hard to calculate BTUs for the system. Since it is radiant, it does not rely on convection (heating the air), it is extremely efficient, though. Once the flooring system comes up to temperature, it takes very little power to maintain that temperature.

      Each thermostat can handle up to 150 square feet, you will need additional thermostats and "relays" for this size of a job.
