Comments about 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6.5LFT Ash Reducer:
We remodeled our complete upstairs of our ranch home with 1400sq. of 3/4" Ash . We could not be more pleased with this product. We were able to get a great price and the installation went smoothly. We were thinking about putting quarter round around three tile areas we did but when I saw how nice the reducer looked, there was no comparison. Love it, Love it, Love. p.s. The staff at the Syracuse store could not have been more accomodating. Thanks

Q:
Our lisbon cork floor was installed alte Sept 2011. By DEcember some spaces were appearing between tiles. NOw there are several places where the gaps are more than 1/4" thick- why and can this be fixed?1 answer
A:
I would be glad to help you with this question.Q:
Can this be a floating floor over linolium in a kitchen?1 answer
A:
Yes this can.Q:
Does Lumber Liquidators sell a floor grade polyurethane as recommended with my cork flooring installation instructions?1 answer
A:
Unfortunately we do not sell floor finishes.Q:
can this be applied on a concrete basement floor ? currently have carpet in my finished basement that I need to replace soon.1 answer
A:
Yes it can. With proper installation and care this flooring will last for years in this application.Q:
how is it for the bathroom and how do you clean it as in sweeping in moping1 answer
A:
Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern.Q:
Is a moisture barrier required under this flooring?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
If over concrete yes. A 6 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4" to 6" and tape with duct tape.Q:
Can you put cork on stairs?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Not recommended or practical because of it's construction. Great for floors, not for stairs.Q:
I have installed the Cassatt Cork flooring and now need to seal using the recommended water based polyurethane. Would Bona Mega sealer be appropriate to use? Do I need to prep the flooring before application?1 answer
A:
We recommend using a floor grade water base polyurethane to seal the cork after installation. Since the Bona Mega Sealer is not our product, it would be best to check with Bona regarding prep and its recommended application.Q:
Is this a veneered or homogeneous product? If it is veneered are any of the cork floating floors homogeneous?1 answer
A:
All of our floating corks have an HDF core by design; cork is not ridged or strong enough to have a milled click joint . We do have solid cork glue down tiles.Q:
I'm considering installing this product in my kitchen. I have indoor dogs and it is a high traffic area. Will the urethane coating stand up to this type of usage?1 answer
A:
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.
