We hire a contractor to install our floor. The small cost to have it installed by a professional was well worth the savings in time and "pain".

I ordered the 2" boards but they turned out to be on backorder and after about 6 weeks of waiting the salesman changed my order to 3" and I love it. I think the 3" looks better in my somewhat formal livingroom. It was less work for my son who installed it. [...]I don't know how to send pictures.

I just thought of another question.

-When using this product to install 12 x 25 glue down cork tiles. What is the approximate flash time you recommend to avoid oozing out of the seems? I notice some other have had problems with that when using this product and I would like to avoid that if at all possible

This is not the correct adhesive for gluing down our cork tiles.
We recommend a water-based (latex) contact cement.

                A:

Installer should remedy the issue, that is unacceptable. Once dry - Success has been made with mineral spirits but better is Bostik's Ultimate Adhesive Remover or Mapei Ultrabond Urethane Cleaner followed by a water damp rag to remove the adhesive remover before it can damage the finish. Hand buff. It seems that the remover dilutes the adhesive but when not completely removed the diluted adhesive dries on the finish leaving a residue. Try the remover as described above and repeat as many times that are necessary.

I would try mineral spirits to soften the adhesive (ALWAYS TEST FIRST FOR COLOR FASTNESS) and alot of clean white rags, blot- don't scrub.
