I had it installed and didn't do the work myself, although I supervised the process. Product worked perfectly. Installed on slab with LL's waterproof glue

I helped my brother install this flooring on our entire second floor. It is super durable and very beautiful. Although my brother is a general contractor and has all the tools, I was still surprised on how easy it was to install. I feel like I could have done it myself if I would have had tools.
This wood is definitely very hard and the power nailer took some getting used to, but once we found our niche we were rolling. I thought it would take a lot longer, but did not.
Also, we've had the floor installed for about a year now, with a very active Boston Terrier, and no scratches! very pleased!!

I love the floor! I had my contractor lay the floor for me so I cant say how hard it was to do. You definately need to buy the floor cleaners that are sold with it at Lumber Liquidators. I coulnt get the glue off the floor without it. Also, use a mr. clean eraser along with the cleaning solution, it helps tremendously. We put the wood flooring in our boys bedroom to see how durable it really is. I think we will put it in more areas of the house.

The Imperial Teak wood is beautiful and will add significant value to any home. The wide planks and dark color will add warmth and beauty to your home. The wood varies is color from a tawny brown to deep cherry red. Either sort your boxes or have your installer lay the wood our prior to installation to evenly mix the color variation. It is gorgeous and I would purchase again.

Q:
can this prduct be installed on the ceiling . possibly with glue and staples1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
In theory yes. While we do not have any manufacturer's specifications on how to do ceiling or wall installations, we have had customers install on ceilings using Tongue and Groove flooring. One method used is to ring shank or screw plywood first on the rafters and then fasten flooring to plywood. Softer woods, lower profile (thinner), and engineered flooring would be easier to nail over your head. Fastening can be done with finish nailers or hand nailing. Ring shank nails can hold better than standard finish nails.Q:
Does this have a hand-scrapped look or is it a smooth finish?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This is a flat floor, not hand scraped.Q:
Can you use this product on a concrete floor and if so, can you apply it directly to the concrete floor?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes this floating engineered flooring is ideal for flat concrete subfloor. A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then lay approved underlayment. Use either Foam Underlayment, Eco Silent Sound, Bellawood Premium Underlayment, or Quiet Walk underlayment for floating floorQ:

Can we use this product with radiant heating? Will it void the warranty?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes. The important thing is to follow the particular flooring manufacturer recommendations for radiant heat as well as sustaining recommended temperature and humidity. In addition the radiant heat manufacturer's recommended floor coverings must be considered as not all floors may be appropriate - www.lumberliquidators.com/assets/images/installation/schon_quickclic_engineered.pdfQ:
What is the recommended underlayment for installing engineered flooring for the following application? Two 3rd floor bedrooms of building that is in a historic district that currently has tung & groove 3/4" pine flooring. I'm trying to preserve the original flooring which is easily 125 years old. Sometime in the future, when I have the time, I plan on pulling the engineered floor and restoring the original floor, which I did do on the 2nd floor and is quite beautiful. Given the age and condition of the existing floor how do you recommend I proceed? Carpet is out of the question for me.1 answer
A:
I would recommend our fabric (felt) underlayments Insulament or Quiet walk and install the Schön Engineered Quick Clic over it.
