Comments about 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6.5LFT Maple Reducer:
This reducer worked great as a transition piece between a hardwood floor and a tile floor. Looks great too! Also worked at the bottom of a ramp as a transition as well.

Comments about 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6.5LFT Maple Reducer:
This turned out to be a good product, [...] but it is not fully labelled on the box and is really a 3/4 to 1/8 match unless you rip it to match something thicker. Ripping it of course reduces its width. Too bad its full dimensions aren't on the box [...] I'd buy it again, especially now that I'm fully aware of what it is.

The finish is perfect in our 3/4 bath. It's a small room and the lengths varied just enough that there was very little waste. Wood is almost perfectly clear with very few knots. I'd use it again in a minute.

I had installed my hardwood floors over 4 years ago, but I only wish I had known about Lumber liquidators back then! I only needed a reducer for the mantle, but I never found anything at the big-box stores. But Lumber Liquidators, had just what I needed, and they were very helpful. For my next big project, I'm going to them again!

Excellent transition from hardwood to carpet. Runs perpendicular to floor and secures easily but does not scratch easily.

Q:
I recently bought this product and installed it in my house and I am not happy with how it scratches so easily with the dogs even after getting the dogs nails cut. Their are scratches everywhere and not sure what to do about it now?1 answer
A:
To prevent more scratches you can cover your pet's claws with vinyl claw covers. Vinyl claw covers can be found at many major pet stores. To repair all the scratches in the flooring you could add a new layer of finish to the existing finish. This procedure is called a screen and finish.
