Quick Installation Tip: Subfloor surface must be clean, smooth, and level. Not recommended for installation over radiant heat.

So much nicer than actual laminate!

Love this stuff. We put it down throughout a basement and people always think it's actual hardwood or laminate hardwood. It's actually better looking than the hardwood laminate we installed upstairs.

We used this product in our family, kitchen, nook and dining rooms. Hallway as well.
We laid it on top of cement. We took up carpet/padding/tack strips/filled holes/scraped/ swept/degreased floor/clean water then wiped it down with towels and let it dry for 30 min.
We then started laying the vinyl and everything stuck really well to the cement. Wish the width was a little more on the pieces but it looks gorgeous. I was really easy. It is very time consuming but the more we did it the faster we got.
Small complaint: the paper on the back that peels off gets stuck sometimes and that is a little irritating. I did find that if you can stand the tempature a little higher like 70°-75° then the backing comes off a little easier.
        ** Helpful hint on cement
Let the vinyl sit a few hours with the prepped floor the same temp @ 75°. Keep it that temp the whole laying time. Then once finished make it cooler in the room and you will have a tight fit!!

The tiles were easy to put down. The glue made my hands sticky, but WD40 was able to get it off.

I am prepping a double-wide house for resale. This product is a great value. It is low priced, looks great and I installed it myself. I have installed other peel & stick flooring, but this is the best looking floor of that type I have used. Most people cannot tell if it is laminate or vinyl. I had a couple boxes where the glue was applied to the sides of the planks which made handling the pieces very frustrating and I had to clean the glop off of each piece. But the other 21 boxes were fine. Like others, I spent more time removing the backing paper than putting the floor down !!

I used this item on my kitchen walls, under my cabinets. Product has adhesive on the back but it is not strong enough to stay stuck on the walls. Had to use GOOP on each panel to make it stick without falling off a few hours after applying to the walls.

I purchased this for my spa and 4 years later it still looks fabulous. It's so easy to clean and I never have to worry if a large amount of water spills. As a matter of fact, we have a major rain storm and the window blew open. I have no idea how long the rain was coming into the room. There was large puddles of water just sitting on top of the floor. I got a bunch of towels, absorbed all the water and the floor is still looking gorgeous. We did use extra glue due to the nature of our work and how often the floor gets washed. People cannot believe is not only NOT real wood, but also I only paid .79 per SF. You can't go wrong with this product.

                  Best Uses

We used this in our basement laundrey room. We put it directly on the concrete. Stuck well and looked fantastic when finished, however, be prepared to get very sticky when installing it. Cuts well. We used a paper cutter and a scissor. The only issued we had was with the paper backing. It just didn't want to come off easy, tore alot (hence the sticky hands). I would recommend this product and would probably use it again. It's a great fix when you don't want to spend a lot of money.

I used this to replace some carpeting in the living room area of my home. Total installation time took approximately 4-5 hours. However, that is including removal of the previous carpet and padding and vacuuming. The finished floor looks great!! I can't wait to do the rest of my home.

We needed to cover a small wall in our bathroom. We used this flooring because it was water resistant. We wanted a different look and this was the ticket! We have a brown themed bathroom and this looks great on this wall in there. We love it!

Used this product in my lake cottage (which we lived in for 1 year and now rent during the year) we could not be more pleased with the ease to install, just peel and stick, cut to fit with a utility knife, the way it holds up to heavy traffic with sandy soil on shoes, cleans with a damp mop and after almost 2 years like the day we installed it.

How long are the planks for the Tranquility 1.5mm North Perry Pine Resilient Vinyl Flooring? In fact, for any of the peel/stick vinyl plank options?

We are considering this or a similar style product for our 500 sqft sun room that we use mostly as a playroom for our kids. Their is currently a sheet vinyl in there, but is old and in bad shape, and will be removed prior to installation. But the subfloor is uneven in certain spots. Does the floor need to be perfectly level for this type of product or is there some give since it is a flexible product (as opposed to a click style vinyl). Thank you!!!

I have carpeted floors, and in certain rooms I can feel 'holes' under the carpet. What would I do to smooth and level the concrete floor that I want to use the peel and stick on? I'm not a DIYer. I don't know how to do anything except type and cook.

My husband is in a wheelchair, would this flooring hold up under the weight and constant movement of his wheelchair? For example; his wheelchair is a power chair and when he turns, will it possibly move the tile planks?

I would be concerned that any Peel & Stick or quick-click product would shift under these conditions, I would recommend a glue down product.

Experimental installations can be successful however the manufacturer has no specific guide on how to do so because of the many variables involved.

A: No underlayment is used under peel and stick vinyl flooring. See installation information and subfloor requirements here

So if you say that to this person the PDF it says For rough or uneven wood subfloors use 1/4”-3/8” luan underlayment"...

I need to know the true answer we have laid some of this flooring and it is now pealing up. OUr floloring guy called the tech support and install number on the packaging and they said we were fine for laying it on that surface, yet it is pealing up in spots.

                          A:

No roll padded underlayment can be used under vinyl peel and sticks however "luan" or sanded plywood may be used to smooth rough or contaminated surfaces that may interfere with glue bond.
