Comments about 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6.5LFT Red Oak Reducer:
This hardwood reducer was used to connect an elevated stone floor (kitchen) with an oak hardwood floor (dining room/living room). The quality is outstanding, and the reducer was easy to install. Very aesthetic and functional. Highly recommended for this purpose.

Comments about 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6.5LFT Red Oak Reducer:
We actually bought red oak rustic prefinished hardwood, reducers, and other products to have our "great room" floors go from carpet/tile/and vinyl to hardwood. We are thrilled with how they turned out.
We know we are hardwood snobs - we didn't want anything but real hardwood - the real thick, honest-to-goodness stuff! Lumber Liquidator$ made it possible to afford our dream. Thanks.

need more instructions to do it your self. Took us 2 weeks to lay the dining room and hallway. We would not attempt to do it again. hallway took the most time. It was not even and the floor floated on us. Looks great and I really liked it when we finished.
Comments about 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6.5LFT Red Oak Reducer:
I have always been a DIYer and know the hassle of hardwood floor refinishing. So when I found out about Lumber Liquidators and checked out their prefinished products I was sold right there. After installation I was twice as satisfied. Hooray for Lumber Liquidators!

Q:
I have a small yorkie pup. Is this floor scratch resistant for dogs?1 answer
A:
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.Q:
Does this laminate come with a foam back1 answer
A:
Yes the Chilton Woods comes with a 3MM preattched paddingQ:
whhy does the board keep poping up help please1 answer
A:
Thank you for writing in! I would be glad to help you with your questions.Q:
Is there a sealant? My grandson spilled apple juice and it bubbled.1 answer
A:
Laminate floor and water are not friends as you have found out. There are no sealers that will ever make this type of floor completely waterproof as it is impossible to seal every crack. Water always finds a crack and spending time and money applying a sealer might give you a false sense of protection that is not really there. The better option might be to simply consider a waterproof mat application in areas you are concerned with, and quickly dry the floor anytime it does get wet. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
Do they make a transition piece to go from the laminate to tile flooring?1 answer
A:
We do, depending on the height variation you would need an End Cap or a Reducer, we retail both those materials to match that flooringQ:
Are the "tongue and groove" edges of the planks straight or are they routed to keep the planks lying flat? I'm thinking of putttting a 3/4" polstyrene underlayment down on a concrete baasement floor to get a R-3 insulation value. Do you know what R value this product has without the additional moisture barrier?1 answer
A:
This floating product has a clic & loc mechanism that joins the planks together.Q:
Do you recommend a sealant over this particular floor?1 answer
A:
No sealers required.Q:
Can this be installed on stairs?1 answer
A:
The matching stairnose SKU is #10001105. Please call our Sales Dept. @ (800) 476-0007 for pricing and availability. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
does this product have a matching stairnose, and if not how would you properly lay this laminate on stairs?1 answer
A:
The matching stairnose SKU is #10001105.Q:
When cleaning, are you able to use a steam mop?1 answer
A:
We do not recommend steam mops or Roomba Scooba robots on our laminates or on any of our wood floor products. Although appropriate for kitchen sheet vinyl or ceramic tiles, wood, laminate and cork floorings have raw seam edges that can swell or cup with use of these cleaning methods. We recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes.
