Nose caps were fast, straight and finished to match the floor perfectly. Used liquid nails and brads that were hidden under the trim. Perfect o!

Comments about 3/8" x 3-1/2" x 6.5 LFT Red Oak Stair Nose:
Used the product at the top of the stairs going from the kitchen to the family room. Looks great and fits good. Product came in a 6.5 ft. length. Only needed 3 ft. of it. So ended up wasting more of it than I used. Should be available in lengths that are common to most stairs, 3 - 4 ft.

I drove around and called all the usual suspects for a nice piece of oak stair nose that would match and fit the space the installer had left for it. LL had it and the quality and quick turn-around on the order was wonderful. Thank you

If you have 11 steps that measure 44" each you would need 484" which converts to 40.33 feet, which means you would need 7 peices of this stairnosing to complete your steps. The pricing is listed online and is charged by the linear foot - for example if the material sold for $1.00 per linear foot one peice would be $6.50, hope this helpsQ:

A:
Yes, you will need to shim it to height, and yes it is recommended to glue and fasten the nosing.
