Do not use air nailer as I learned. It will split out. Fortunately, the piece was long enough that I had a second chance. I also recommend testing your angles on scrap wood before cutting the actual threshold so you can get a tight fit (especially when doorways are out of square)

                      • Q:

I am using the Red oak T-Molding between 24 feet of 3/4" x 3-1/4" oak hardwood and a tile floor. I have maintained the recommended 3/4" gap along the rest of the perimeter, for expansion, at the edge of my hardwood floor. Do I need to leave a 3/4" space between the last board and the lower projection of the 'T'? Or does the 1/2" gap occupied by the 'T' allow for the expansion? The T-Molding will run parallel to the hardwood boards. By the way, the "Bella Natural Red" oak floor is one of the highlights of my new home.

I am considering the purchase of your murray forest oak laminate and I need to know how I find out which moldings fit the 8mm laminate vs any other size. I assume that they are not 'one size fits all' or are they? The moldings in question are the T molding, the threshold, and the laminate reducer
