Comments about 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 6.5LFT White Oak Reducer:

Such a beautiful floor, much better than wall-to-wall carpet, clean, and easy to care for. White oak natural looks stunning, like fine furniture. Really pops! Rich and refined. What else can I say, except go for it!!

These floors require year round HVAC. I recommend contacting a coach/camper trailer manufacturer for recommendation.

        A:

We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor.

You will need 1200 Sqft. of an underlayment to support the laminate, doorway transitions and possibly quarter round to trim out at the baseboards.

    • Q:

I am trying to match up some 7mm laminate that I have. I need several additional boxes to complete a floor I want to do. Do you carry any 7mm or do you carry anything that would work with what I already have have.
      Thank you

        A:

We do carry a couple of 7mm laminate floors, but if they are not made from the same manufacture of your existing flooring the locking system may not work. Another issue would be the picture on our 7mm laminate may not match in design or color of your existing laminate. The 7mm laminates we offered are listed on page 42 of the Lumber Liquidators Summer 2011 catalogue.

I was considering this flooring for the inside of my travel trailer. Does this present any particular issues? I would also like to staple it down, are there are issues with this installation technique?

        A:

Laminate floors are installed by clicking the joints together and are a "floating floor".
All of our flooring products are designed to be installed in a controlled (temp and humidity) environment.

    • Q:

what will happen to this product if you put it in a basement and the basement had flooding?
Asked on 6/13/2011 by nickie from harvey, illinois

      1 answer

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

If this product were installed in a basement and were to get flooded the seams of the laminate could start to swell or the flooring could buckle due to expansion of the flooring and not enough space for movement. If you have flooding occur in your basement often I would not recommend installing any wood flooring products.
